A Florida mother wants answers after video allegedly shows another mother pistol-whipping her teenage son. The incident reportedly occurred in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant in Miami Gardens. The video appears to show teenagers involved in a physical altercation when an unidentified woman jumped in and allegedly assaulted the teenager. The mother of the injured teen wants justice.
The victim’s mother told 7News she didn’t condone her son’s violent behavior, but it was the other mother who really shocked her.

The altercation happened near a high school.
According to 7News, the incident occurred in a Popeye’s parking lot near Carol City Senior High School.
“You see my son being jumped and hit with a gun by the mother of the boy he was fighting,” the victim’s mother told the news outlet.
She claimed the other mother saw what was happening and stepped in.
“They started fighting. The mom was there, when she pulled out a gun, and she hit my son in the face,” she added.
The mother claimed her son is a smart kid.
She told 7News he is bright and level-headed but made a bad decision.
“He’s a good kid. You know, he’s into sports. He’s very smart. He’s advanced,” she told 7News. The mother added that even though her son is usually a good kid, he made a mistake. “I’m not happy about my son fighting, but I still don’t feel like he deserves to get hit in the face with a gun,” she admitted.
The entire situation was very dangerous.
A video shot by a witness’ cellphone appears to show a violent attack and a deadly weapon. The outcome could have been fatal. “Any innocent bystanders could have gotten hurt, not only my son. I feel they were in danger,” the victim’s mother said, per 7News. “That gun could have went off when she hit my son in the face.”

The teenager reportedly wound up suspended from school.
According to the victim’s mother, the school suspended her son. But the mother who reportedly attacked him has not faced any charges.
“I just want to understand why this woman wasn’t arrested for hitting a minor and having a gun around so many kids,” she told 7News.
Miami Gardens Police have not made a statement about the video or the alleged attack. It is unclear whether the adult could face charges related to the altercation.
