A video of a young New York City girl and her mother is going viral, and people have a lot to say about the child's behavior. Two women were allegedly caught shoplifting at a high-end boutique in SoHo on Prince Street on May 25.

When police showed up, a young girl, whose name has not been released, began an expletive-laden rant target at members of the NYPD that was all caught on camera. It appeared the child thought her mother was being falsely arrested, and she wanted the police officers to know.

The video, posted to @theorginalityshow on TikTok, shows the child vehemently defending her mother and screaming at the person behind the camera to stop recording. Although the child's obvious love for her mother's good name seemed endearing to some, her language and demeanor has caused concern for many.
