A Wisconsin family desperately wants help finding a 13-year-old girl who seemingly disappeared. Lillian Asala reportedly left her home on March 1, 2025, around 4 p.m. to get some fresh air and never returned. The teen’s cellphone last tracked her at the skate park at Abendschein Park in Oak Creek about 5 p.m. that day. But no one has seen or heard from the teenager since.
Lillian’s great-aunt, Amy Czarnecki, told TMJ 4 that four other children reported seeing her niece in the area on March 1. Lillian’s grandmother told the news outlet she’d been watching Lillian and permitted her to go to the park. When the teenager didn’t return calls or texts, the family contacted police.
“K-9s have been out there. Lots of drones. They’ve picked up her scent at certain locations. They’ve been looking there,” Amy Czarnecki said.
Lillian’s family was not familiar with her last known location, about a mile away. They told TMJ 4 they fear she may have gotten into a car near South Pennsylvania Avenue and East Forest Holl Avenue.
The community rallied around the family, including American Legion Post 434 in Oak Creek, which offered to serve as a search hub.
“All the members came out and generously offered labor, printing, and footwork, and it’s actually been, I’m getting a little emotional, but it’s been a really good outcry of community support,” said Bob Czarnecki, Lillian’s great-uncle, per TMJ 4.
Amy Czarnecki added, “We just want her home safe as soon as possible.”
According to a press release from the Oak Creek Police Department, “Lillian is described as a white female, 5’05” tall, weighing 140 pounds, with blonde hair and braces. Lillian was last seen wearing a black winter coat, blue jeans, and blue and white Nike shoes.”
The department updated the post on March 5, writing, “At this time, there is no indication or evidence of foul play. Tips and investigative leads continue to be followed up on. The Oak Creek Police Department thanks everyone who has assisted Lillian’s family and our police department during this investigation. Please contact the Oak Creek Police Department at 414-762-8200 if you have any information on Lillian’s whereabouts.”
“Lillian is my great niece. Thank you all for sharing and for your concern. I’m watching this (and other feeds) closely,” Linda Grace commented on the police department’s Facebook post. “Should more paper posters need to get out, and/or a physical search be warranted, I am indeed keeping track of who in the community may be able to help with the endeavor should it be warranted; supervised and coordinated with OCPD and Lillian’s parents. No worries, I will find you all for help. Appreciate you all soo very much.”
