Sometimes we see things that feel a little suspicious but we don’t always know why. Maybe it’s because there’s an implication of something uncomfortable or off-putting. Other times, the thing you’re seeing just rubs you the wrong way. As parents, it’s our job to be on the alert at all times for things regarding our kids that feel off.
Recently, a mom found an off-putting message on the tag of her kid’s clothes from Old Navy, and she turned to social media to see if she was thinking too hard about it. Most people told her that she may be overthinking it a bit, but it is kind of odd.

The mom found the message on the tag to be an interesting choice.
Mom Victoria Cerezo posted a video on her TikTok showing the tag of a kid’s clothing item she recently purchased from Old Navy. The underside of the tag reads “No grown-ups allowed,” and Cerezo wasn’t sure what to think about that.
“Am I just over reacting or is this just weird,” she wrote in the text over the video.
She didn't really elaborate on her feelings.
She added an additional note in the comment section: “They usually have cute little sayings under the tags lol, but this one just seemed a bit odd to me.”
She kept reiterating that she found the saying “odd” but never chose to elaborate on what she found odd about it.

Most people agreed that she was overthinking.
“I think youre overthinking it lol,” one commenter shared.
“Ion think they meant it like that but it do seem crazy ,” another person wrote.
“I doubt it meant anything inappropriate but….I don’t actually understand what it was supposed to mean??? ,” someone else added.
“My sons said that too I was like what does that mean ,” another commenter added.
A lot of the commenters found the phrase funny.
One commenter tried to soothe Cerezo’s mind by sharing, “I think it’s funny. They all say something funny.”
“It’s there so when I accidentally shrink my husband’s shorts him and my son don’t get their clothes mixed up,” one mom joked.
“I think it’s pretty funny!!!” another person agreed.
A lot of people have made videos about their funny Old Navy tags.
Many commenters shared that they had never noticed the company puts saying on its clothing tags, but apparently, it’s something that other people have noticed. One mom made a TikTok showing a tag in her baby daughter’s hoodie that read, “omg, so tiny.”
And the messages aren’t just in kids’ clothes. One TikTok video showed a tag that read “tag, you’re it” on adult clothing.
