PA Mom Who Never Picked Up Her Son From Bus Stop Still Missing & Family Pleads for Help

A Pennsylvania woman is missing, and friends say it is out of character for her to just leave and not tell anyone where she was going. Jennifer Brown, 43, of Limerick Township was last seen on January 3, the day before she failed to pick up her youngest son, Noah, from the school bus stop.

Over the weekend, the community held a candlelight vigil outside her home and prayed for her safe return, according to FOX 29. The situation is becoming more frightening for her loved ones as the days pass.

Brown reportedly went missing sometime between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.

The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office issued a statement on Saturday asking for the public’s help to find Brown. The statement noted that Brown was last seen with a “friend and business associate” on January 3 but did not pick up her son, Noah, from the bus stop on Wednesday, the following day. Brown’s neighbor, Erin Friend, told FOX 29 she saw Brown on Tuesday, and everything seemed fine.

“She was driving by. I was in the parking lot talking to another neighbor in the car with my dog,” Friend said. “We both waved hello, and I went inside.”

Her personal belongings were at her home.

According to the DA’s office, Brown’s car was parked outside her home on Wednesday, and her keys, wallet, purse, and work cellphone were inside the vehicle. Investigators could not locate her personal cellphone but reported that it had not had any communication activity since the morning of January 4.

District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said, “Law enforcement is very concerned about the welfare of this mother, Jennifer Brown,” and he pleaded for the community’s help finding her.

Brown and her son were very close.

Friends and family say that Brown and her 8-year-old son, Noah, were always together and that she would never just up and leave him. Long-time friend Tiffany Barron told FOX 29 the situation is becoming dire.

“Each passing minute, hour, day, it’s getting more and more real and scary,” Barron said.

She said Brown and her son were very close. “She’s never going to abandon her son, so this is just very, very unlike her,” Barron said. “She’s the most responsible person I know.”

Brown’s cousin, Holly Baird posted on Facebook that her family is “devastated & desperate to find her.” She begged friends and family to share her post to help find Brown.

The community held a candlelight vigil in her honor Saturday evening.

The tight-knit community gathered in front of Brown’s home on Stratford Court in Royersford for a candlelight vigil and to pray for her safe return. Diane Brehm, Brown’s aunt, told 6 ABC Action News the family is living in fear, worrying about Brown.

“This has been a nightmare,” she said. “We are truly living a movie that we’re involved in and it’s a nightmare.”

Concerned residents put together a Facebook page to help gather tips regarding Brown's disappearance.

The public Facebook group, Help Bring Jennifer Brown Home, is filled with posts from people trying to help locate Brown. There are suggestions of seeking help from a psychic, and community members offering to create a search party to help find her.

Several people are trying to help launch their own investigation by asking questions about her everyday routines and potential whereabouts.

One person wrote, “Just throwing some questions out there in hope the authorities have done their job finding answers. If she was working from home, who was the last person who spoke with her? Does she typically go for walks? Was her car in working order? Are there rings cameras in the neighborhood that were checked?”

Steele implored the public for their help in his Facebook post. “If anyone has seen Jennifer or has any information that might be helpful in locating her, please call the Limerick Township Police at 610-495-7909 or Montgomery County Detectives at 610-226-5553.”

Her family is offering a $10,000 reward for information about Brown’s whereabouts that locates her.
