Wouldn't it be great if you could get your child to do anything you wanted — without the whining, the moaning, the tantrums?
The other day I was listening to an interesting show on my local NPR station about Hypnosis. It explained how it works and how it can help people stop smoking, lose weight, or even feel less pain during childbirth.
Just as I was wondering if hypnosis would work to help in disciplining kids, a listener asked if hypnosis would work on picky eater kids.
"Picky eater kids are a piece of cake," answered Roberta Temes, Ph.D., hypnotist, psychologist and author of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Hynosis. "I love working with them. I ask them what their favorite food is, I find another food that they don't want to eat. I tell them that from now on, food number 2 is going to taste just like food number 1, and it's done."
Dr. Roberta, as she calls herself, even does hypnosis over the phone.
What do you think? Would you give hypnosis a try to get your child to eat better? Would you try it for other things?
