Have you ever heard of "Pregophelia"? Probably not because it's totally disturbing and you're not a pervert. One woman, pregnant with multiples, found out about Pregophelia the hard way when a creep, posing as her, shared her 9-months pregnant belly picture trying to lure other super preggo ladies into sharing their photos. Here's what pregnant women need to know about sharing baby bump pics and Pregofiles and how to protect yourself and your pictures.
For most ladies, sharing those baby bump pics are more about "Can you freaking believe there's a person in here!" rather than showing off sex appeal. But that doesn't mean there isn't a market for those baby bump pictures, by men who are sexually aroused by big, pregnant chicks. And the bigger, and more pregnant, the better.

In Australian multiple-birth social media circles someone, a male Pregophile downloaded images women had shared of their huge, swollen baby bumps and created a fake profile under the name "Afina" to challenge other pregnant women to do the same. It came to light after one user, Megan Ireland, saw Afina trolling using her picture as bait. The pictures are now available on a Pregophila web site.
"It makes me feel sick," Ireland told Daily Mail Australia. 'That's my child in my stomach and people out there are doing really gross things."
We know the feeling. Eeesh.
Ireland's revelation sounded an alarm prompting the Australian Multiple Births Association to post a warning to expectant mothers not to post baby bump pictures.
But, the group warns, it's not just mothers of multiples and its not just in Canada.
"We put a warning out last week but there is a new 'women' that has come to our attention," the group posted to their memebers. "It's an international problem as Canada and NZ MBA's are also reporting the problem. It's not just multiple mum's belly."
So ladies, now you've been warned. Your beautiful miracle is someone else's sexy fantasy, so if you don't want to participate, keep those nekkid bumps covered, or at least off social media.
