Dad Accused of Child Abuse for Feeding Toddlers Raw Meat, Including Raw Bull & Goat Testicles

A content creator who enjoys eating raw meat has garnered backlash by sharing some of his favorite foods with his toddlers. The dad, Pauly Long, is originally from Pennsylvania but now lives in Indonesia with his wife and kids. In recent videos on social media, he has shared raw bull testicles, raw salmon, and raw goat testicles with his kids, who are only 1 and 2 years old. The dad claims he doesn’t force his kids to eat the raw meat.

During a 2023 interview with Metro, the dad said he’s “never forced anything on my kid, and I never will.” He explained that he’ll let his sons figure out what they’d like to eat.

The dad told the news outlet that his older son tried raw meat for the first time because he wanted to. “When he first tried liver, it was because he saw me eating it,” he explained. “I was sitting there eating it, and he would not back down. So I said, ‘Here you go,’ and he just ate it right up. Then he asked for more and more.”

In a more recent video, Pauly made a similar statement. On March 29, 2025, he shared a video with text that reads, “Eating raw bull testi with my 1 year old.”

He said that “raw bull testicle” is “one of King’s favorites.” The dad went on to say that his son “just eats it himself.”

“I’ve never forced it on him,” he explained. “I’ve never made him eat it. I just put it in front of him and he just gobbles it up.”

Some people were skeptical and concerned.

Sure, the dad might not force his kids to eat raw meat. But some critics pointed out that kids will eat just about anything at that age. “Babies literally eat f—ing legos this is not a ‘he does it by choice’ kind of thing,” one person commented on the video. Another critic wrote, “Brother if you put a marble in front of the kid, he’d eat that too…”

A third person pointed out that it’s not exactly a choice given that his son is so young. “Put a sandwich and some balls next to each other see which ones he eats,” the commenter wrote. “You’re not ‘forcing it on him’ but giving him no other choice. You know d— well that baby can’t ask for what he wants.”

Others pointed out that it seems unhealthy and dangerous.

One person commented on the video, sharing that the raw meat is “so bad for him!! 🤮” Others accused the dad of “child abuse,” with one person writing, “That kid should be taken away.”

In another video, the dad showed his son Thunder trying raw goat testicle for the first time. The dad gave pieces of the raw meat to both of his children. “He liked it for 20 seconds before realizing he didn’t like it😂,” he captioned the April 8 video. Reacting to the video, one person wrote, “This is so wrong.”

The dad has said he did research before feeding his children raw meat.

During the interview with Metro, Pauly said his wife did not initially want him to feed their kids raw meat. “I actually wanted to start him on this stuff earlier,” he said. “But she would not let me – it was a ‘happy wife, happy life’ type situation, so we waited a little longer.”

He told the news outlet that feeding his kids raw meat was “not an experiment” and he did “research” before letting them eat raw meat. “I made sure I was very, very confident with my decision before letting my son eat raw meat,” he said.

Research suggests that eating raw meat comes with risks.

Because of influencers like Pauly, raw meat is having a moment on TikTok. But consuming raw meat can lead to severe food poisoning because it might be contaminated with harmful pathogens such as SalmonellaClostridium perfringensE. coli, or Listeria, per Healthline. Cooking meat destroys these pathogens, making it less risky compared to consuming raw meat.

According to Healthline, raw meat is particularly dangerous for older adults, pregnant women, and children – which is why Pauly’s recent videos are so controversial. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, raw meat is riskier for children under 5 years old because “their immune systems are still developing, so their bodies aren’t able to fight germs and sickness as well as adults.” Additionally, “food poisoning can be particularly dangerous for them because it can lead to diarrhea and dehydration,” the CDC notes.
