It isn’t often that we catch a glimpse of Michelle Duggar these days, but while she’s visiting Jinger Duggar, she made a rare appearance on her daughter’s Instagram account. On Tuesday, Jinger shared a video of what she was doing while awaiting the arrival of her third baby, who is due any day now, and it included spending some quality time with her mom.
Michelle is in town to be there for her newest grandbaby’s arrival.
Jinger and husband Jeremy Vuolo announced they were expecting their third baby back in October, and now, the time is finally here. Their daughters, 6-year-old Felicity and 4-year-old Evangeline, are about to have a baby brother to add to their crew. How exciting!
After months of following along with Jinger’s pregnancy updates, the latest one is pretty thrilling. Her mom is in town, which means the baby countdown is officially on.
She and Jinger went shopping to pass the time.
If you follow Jinger on Instagram, you already know that over the past few days, she’s been sharing her “baby watch” videos on her Instagram Stories â or all the ways that she and the fam have been trying to pass the time while also making the most of their final days as a family of four.
Now that Michelle has arrived, the fun has included a mother/daughter shopping trip.
“Why just sit around waiting for baby boy to arrive when you could be out shopping with your mom instead?” Jinger wrote in her caption. “We found the cutest spring and summer dresses!”
Fans were so happy to see Michelle again.
We don’t see Michelle very often these days. Not only has the family’s TLC series, Counting On, been off the air for years, but the Duggar family’s Instagram account has been silent for a long time, too. This appearance was an exciting one for those who have been wondering how the mom of 19 is doing.
“Iâm just here for seeing Michelle! She looks amazing!” one person wrote. Another commented, “Mama Duggar never ages! Sheâs so beautiful!”
Michelle has been present for the births of both of Jinger’s daughters.
Back in February, Jinger confirmed that her mom would be making the trip out to California to meet her new grandson, too.
âIt has been the biggest blessing having her at each of my births,â Jinger told fans on Instagram at the time. âSo thankful sheâs willing to come all the way out here to support me through it. Momma is a wealth of wisdom and I couldnât imagine going through labor without her by my side.â
It’s good to see that even with Jinger living across the country, Michelle was still able to make the journey to support her during the birth. We can’t wait to meet her little one â and to finally find out what name she picked out.
