Mom Shares She Had Cyst in Her Uterus Full of Teeth & Hair & Now I’m Never Sleeping Again

TikTok mom @Sandwitchbread was having abdominal pains and feared that a trip to the doctor’s office would reveal that she was pregnant. But the truth turned out to be so much weirder than she expected. In fact, the mom had a dermoid cyst growing inside of her, and the contents of that are the stuff of nightmares.

It all came out during the mom's recent trip to the gynecologist.

It was the first time she had seen that doctor since Sandwitchbread had given birth to her son Atlas, who is now 2.

“I went because I had some abnormal pain in my abdomen,” she explained in the video. “And some abnormal bleeding that isn’t consistent with my periods.”

She’d taken a bunch of pregnancy tests, but they all came back negative.

“So I know I’m not pregnant,” she shared.

When she got to the doctor, she was asked to have an ultrasound.

“And I was like, ‘F–k, I hope this is not a baby because I do not want a kid right now,'” she recalled. “It’s actually not a baby. It’s something way worse than a baby.”

The second her doctor got to her uterus, the OP could immediately see something in there.

But her doctors assured her again that she was not pregnant.

According to the mom, the wait between when her doctor took the scan and getting the results was agonizing.

Sandwitchbread swore her doctor was going to tell her the worst.

“She comes in the room to tell me the results of the ultrasound," she recalled. "She looks me in the eyes and tells me that I have a 7cm, chicken egg-sized cyst called a dermoid cyst — I actually have two, the other’s the size of a pea.”

What is a dermoid cyst?

“It’s a cyst that grows hair and teeth and is caused from particles of fetal tissue being separated during the development of the fetus,” she explained.

“So for about two years now, I’ve had particles of my son that I gave birth to, growing in the uterus,” she continued. “Teeth and hair. So, not a baby, but it’s basically pieces of my son. Just been carrying him with me.”

At the end of the video, the mom showed a photo of what a dermoid cyst looks like.

“Viewer discretion advised,” she warned. And yep — that certainly was a cyst full of hair and teeth.

In the video’s caption, the mom also wrote that she couldn’t wait for the surgery to get the cysts removed.

“I'm gonna keep them in a wet specimen jar,” she wrote.

People in the comments section were shocked.

"You advised discretion for the photo and I THOUGHT I understood," wrote one person. "But let me tell you I WAS NOT READY FOR THAT PHOTO."

"New fear unlocked," wrote someone else.

"I will never be able to forget this," another commenter wrote. "I should have looked away."

Other people couldn't stop themselves from making jokes.

"He has your eyes," joked one commenter.

"My mom had one of those removed when she was 28," someone else shared. "To this day she calls it my 'cyster.'”

"Men should really be thanking us everyday," someone else commented.

Later in the thread, the TikToker explained that she had "a consultation with a surgeon on March 2nd."

"I will update once I secure the specimen," she wrote.

Oh, and guess what — now they have names.

"Seymour and Archibald Winklet."

Of course.
