We have all gone through the drive-thru and placed our orders, and when the bag arrives, it's all wrong. Maybe they forgot your fries, gave you a regular Coke instead of diet, or God forbid, put pickles on your child's "plain" hamburger. The struggle is real. But we've never heard anything like this Texas mom's drive-thru debacle.
TikToker @kiralles posted a video last week of her Egg McMuffin, which had a bit more than she ordered on it. They topped her breakfast with egg, cheese, and allegedly, a few drops of human blood. Um, yes, you read that correctly. There was what appeared to be human blood on the sandwich, and it was not hers. Naturally, the pregnant mom flipped out. Wouldn't we all? But when she returned to the restaurant, it just got worse.

A quick stop turned into an ongoing nightmare.
Kira was seven months pregnant and hungry for some breakfast. We feel that. So she headed to the golden arches. She explains in the TikTok that she went "ham" on that sandwich because she was so hungry and in a rush to get to work. It wasn't until she was halfway finished that she noticed something weird on the bread.
"Instantly, my brain is like. It's ketchup. It's jelly. Like it's anything red before it's blood," she says.
But upon further investigation, she realized there were droplets on that English muffin, and they are not edible.
She gave herself a once-over.

Of course, if you see blood on your food, you instantly think it's from you. She looked for wounds, but there weren't any. Then she thought, OK, bleeding gums. She was pregnant, and that can be a symptom. No dice.
She realized this was blood that belonged to someone else, so she returned to the restaurant.
And, well, that's when things get really nuts.
She went to the dining room and banged on the door, but no one answered because they weren't open yet. So, she headed back to the drive-thru. The woman at the window recognized her and asked if her food was made incorrectly.
"I was like, mmmhmm, yeah they did," she whimpered.
Kira then explained that she put the sandwich in a baggie to preserve the evidence. "I am a scientist and I could've extracted the DNA, but I didn't. I didn't want there to be any issues. I left that for McDonald's to deal with," she says.
The woman working the drive-thru was understandably horrified and went to get a manager.
Dear Manager, this is not your typical Karen. This woman is legit.
Kira says the manager came to the window and told her she'd take the sandwich and give her a refund. Uh, what? Kira also couldn't believe this woman's attitude.
"Girl, are you being for real right now?" she asked.
But she's no dummy. Kira didn't let go of her sandwich. She was happy to show the manager the evidence, but would not hand it over. The manager denied that it was blood, but said she'd check the cameras.
Then the drive-thru server came back.
Here's where the story takes a gruesome turn. We've warned you.
"The other lady comes back to the window, and she's like, 'Yep. I checked the kitchen, and so and so cut her hand right around the time that you came through the drive-thru.' So boom, right there, they admitted that someone cut their hand in the kitchen at like the time that I came," Kira says.
Well, sorry … we have to go take a break to throw up now …

Kira lawyered up.
To no one's surprise, Kira had to protect herself. She says that lawyers from both sides, as well as her doctor, got involved. Remember, she was pregnant. This is no joke. She was anxious about her safety and her unborn baby's safety. Thankfully, her doctor reassured her that she and her baby were likely safe, barring any exposure to an open wound.
At the end of the video, she says that, contrary to another quick TikTok, she does not have hepatitis. That was just a joke, and she also addressed whether there was a lawsuit and said she got lawyers involved but didn't share details.
No one was 'lovin' it.'
TikTokers were in total shock over the whole thing.
"The lawsuit would be so crucial they would demolish that location!!!" someone wrote.
Others agreed that the manager's response was laughable. "A REFUNDDD ?! ?!?!?" someone wrote. "Y'all gon have to give me the whole McDonald's!"
Someone else explained a similar situation: "Omgggg when I was pregnant I also got a McMuffin and there was larvae all over my sandwich!!! I called McDonald's and they were also nonchalant about."
"WHERE IS THE MC MANSION???" another TikToker asked. "THE MC CEDES THE MC SUEEE? why are u so calm i would've sued the donald off of mc ronald & while pregnant ."
Kira, we are so glad you and your baby are OK. What a nightmare! We'll never look at a McMuffin the same again.
