Kelly Clarkson is turning her Las Vegas shows into a family affair! The singer brought her kids, River Rose and Remington, up on stage with her during the most recent shows of her residency. The best part? It was totally the kids’ idea!

Kelly was really excited by the idea.
Before the kids took the stage, Kelly shared that they had asked if they could "dance or sing something" during one of her shows.
"I was like, 'Okay!'" she shared with the audience. "'That sounds incredible. What song do you want to do?'"
River Rose, 9, bravely decided that she was going to sing.
River made an excellent song choice.
For her duet with her mom, River Rose decided she wanted to sing "Heartbeat Song" from Kelly's album Piece by Piece.
"She's been jamming to this song since she was a baby," Kelly excitedly explained to the crowd. "She loves this song so much, so she was like, 'Can I sing this song?'"
Kelly went on to share that she was so excited for her performance that even the wardrobe was special. "She picked her dress, y'all," she said.
Kelly was a proud mom in this moment.
River Rose excitedly joined her mother on stage in an adorable striped dress that Kelly immediately praised. "She looks beautiful!"
The young girl was clearly a little overwhelmed when she took the stage alongside her superstar momma. "Oh my god," she said, taking in the crowd.
Going into mom mode, Kelly immediately calmed her daughter’s nerves, telling her, "I love you so much. You killed it at sound check!"
River Rose did an amazing job with her performance.
They then launched into the song, facing each other for much of the performance. Kelly guided her girl through the whole thing, never fully taking her focus off her daughter. River Rose held her own on the stage, clearly having a great time.
When the song was over, they were both beaming. "Give it up for River Rose, everybody!" Kelly cheered, and the audience followed suit. "Thank you everyone!" her daughter yelled excitedly before leaving the stage.
"You look gorgeous! You did amazing. I love you," Kelly told her one last time.

Remington stole the show, too.
Then it was Remington’s turn to take the stage. He was all smiles as Kelly told the crowd he was initially scared about dancing in front of "a whole lot of people," but she reminded the 7-year-old that it would be just like at their home dance parties.
Kelly told the crowd that her son’s choice was "the coolest song for a dude to pick," before she launched into her tune "Whole Lotta Woman." Remington bopped along, with Kelly and her backup singers hyping him up.
"Give it up for Remy B!" Kelly cheered at the end of the performance, lifting her son up while everyone else applauded. Looks like she has two talented kids on her hands!
