Brittany Mahomes Warns Fans To ‘Take Care of Your Pelvic Floor’ After Fracturing Her Back

It feels like the older we get, the more often things like pulling a muscle happen – and if you’re a mom, there’s a good chance you’ve learned the hard way that some changes that happen to your body can really throw you for a loop. Unfortunately, this is now happening to Brittany Mahomes after she suffered a back injury, and it’s compelling her to share a very important PSA with her social media followers: Take care of that pelvic floor!

While sharing a selfie, Brittany wrote, “Just your daily reminder: Once you have kids please take care of your pelvic floor. Seriously. From: a girl with a fractured back.”

Yikes — that doesn’t sound fun!

She didn't share how her injury happened.

It’s not immediately clear how Brittany’s pelvic floor could lead to a back injury, and she’s not explaining it — at least, not yet.

But stranger things have happened, and taking care of your pelvic floor is good advice with or without back issues.

She's not letting the injury get her down.

In the next slide of her Instagram Stories, Brittany shared a photo from her vacation, which appears to be somewhere tropical. It’s hard to be unhappy in a place like this!

“But vacaying with my homies will maybe make it better?” she wrote.

If it can happen to Brittany, it can happen to anyone.

Brittany has always been all about sharing her active lifestyle on social media, so if you follow her on Instagram, there’s a good chance you’ve caught her workouts before. Then, there’s the fact that she was once a personal trainer, so if an injury like that can happen to someone who is so fit, the rest of us aren’t safe either!

Fingers crossed she'll feel better soon.

In the meantime, it looks like she’s not struggling too hard while enjoying her family vacation – and we’ve all learned an important lesson about pelvic floor health. Here’s hoping her kiddos will cut her some slack while she recovers and let mama rest.
