Meghan Markle has been sharing personal photos and details of the family life she shares with Prince Harry and their two children, Archie and Lilibet, more and more these days. On Sunday, she used the Father’s Day holiday as an excuse to post another glimpse of their world behind closed doors in a post dedicated to Harry on Instagram, including never-before-seen footage of the couple’s little ones.
Set to the Jason Mraz song “Have It All,” Meghan shared video footage of Harry’s life as a dad, including plenty of sweet moments with Archie and Lili.
“The best,” Meghan wrote in her caption. “Happy Father’s Day to our favorite guy.”
First showing a photo of Harry cuddling up with his kids under a banner that reads “Happy Father’s Day,” the video then revealed footage of him with Archie and Lili as brand-new babies before more recent video clips played.
From dancing in the kitchen with a toddler-sized Archie, playing on the beach with his kids, and even teaching his son how to ride a bike, the video seems to be a highlight reel of some of Harry’s happiest fatherhood moments.
What was most interesting about the video, though, were the glimpses of Archie and Lili’s faces that we don’t typically see, especially from those early baby days. And because of that, Meghan didn’t escape criticism on social media – as per usual.
“Meghan is losing the plot trying to recover from her twerkle video & trying to keep up with/out shine the Wales kids. She giving crumbs of kid’s faces but it won’t be long before she shows their whole faces without blurring. That’s the ace up her sleeve,” one person wrote in a post on X.
“They were jealous of all the attention the Wales’ kids got yesterday,” another person wrote, referring to the photos that had been shared of Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s children, Charlotte, George, and Louis, at Trooping the Colour, which took place a day earlier.
However, it’s not that unusual that a mom would want to share happy photos and videos of her husband and their kids on a holiday like Father’s Day – especially because the kids’ faces were only shown in the older footage, not the newer videos, because they’ve probably changed a lot since then.
Either way, from this video, there’s no doubt that Harry is a dad who adores his kids.
