A Little Boy Tried To Climb Into a Claw Machine & Ended Up Trapped but He Looked Thrilled in the Video

If you’ve ever gone to a mall or an arcade, you’ve likely seen claw machines. They’re so enticing, filled with stuffed toys or other goodies. Usually it costs a small amount to take a turn, but anyone who has played will tell you that it’s practically impossible to win. So you keep putting money in, the thing you want still alluding you. Video from an Ohio community center shows what happened when a boy lost patience and got stuck in the claw machine after he decided to climb in and get what he wanted.

The incident happened in a claw machine July 7, 2025, at a community center in Mason, Ohio, WLWT reported. Surveillance video shows the little one attempting to climb into the machine. He is soon successful after getting in via the delivery chute. As soon as people nearby see what’s happening, someone calls for help.

Concerned passersby make attempts to rescue the boy, but as he stands inside the machine, he doesn’t seem particularly scared or worried. He is simply marveling at the assortment of toys.

WDTN also reported on the incident, showing the claw machine being moved into a store. After the machine was brought inside, they closed the gate to keep people out. That, of course, doesn’t stop onlookers. First responders from the Mason police and fire departments showed up, surrounding the machine. In the video, they open the back of the machine, freeing the boy.

According to reports, the boy wasn’t hurt. In the footage, he appears to be alone. There have been no reports of where the child’s guardians were at the time of the incident.

“You are witnessing the beginning of a future Burglar. It won’t be long before he’s crawling through the neighbor’s kitchen window. (The Cops were there to rescue him this time, next time the Cops will be there to arrest him),” someone commented on the WDTN YouTube page.
