Christine Brown Reveals How Ex Kody Will React to Her New Tell-All Memoir

Now that Christine Brown‘s memoir, Sister Wife: A Memoir of Faith, Family, and Finding Freedom, is officially out in the world, what do ex-husband Kody Brown and her former sister wives think about it? During an appearance on the Sarah Fraser Show on YouTube, Christine shared how she thinks Kody will respond to her book … and given the fact that she didn’t hold back when it comes to the way things really were behind the scenes in their marriage, there’s a good chance he’s not going to be very happy about the contents.

No one in her life read her book before it was released this week.

Christine said that while she gave her sisters and Janelle a heads up about some of the things she mentioned in her book, she didn’t warn Kody, Robyn, or Meri ahead of time, and nobody received an advanced copy.

“As far as them getting an advanced copy, Janelle didn’t get an advanced copy,” she said. “I didn’t give an advanced copy to anybody. I didn’t know that I should do that. So now that you’re saying that, I’m like, ‘Shoot, maybe I should have.’”

She hasn’t heard from Kody and Robyn yet.

She admitted that she’s not sure if Kody or his current (and only) wife Robyn plan to read the book — and if Kody has heard what she wrote about him in the book, she’s not convinced he’ll confront her directly.

“Of course, I’m sure he’s upset but he hasn’t told me,” she said. “He hasn’t reached out to me. I’m just going to hear it through the grapevine if he’s upset. But I’m like, ‘OK, be upset.’”

Considering the fact that Christine hasn’t exactly painted Kody in a flattering light, there’s a very good chance he’s not going to be happy when he does find out what she said.

She’s open to finding out how Kody will feel about it, though.

If Kody does want to talk about anything in the book, Christine is all ears. In fact, she encourages him to share his point of view.

“This is my perspective, and this is my point of view, and this is what I felt happened. If you feel different, write a book! Do it, please!” she said, adding, “We’d all love to know what goes on inside your mind. We would love it. We would all read that! I know maybe people would read it because they would want to know why and how does your mind even work like that?! So if he needs to write a book, he can.”
