Nicola Peltz may have just added more fuel to the feud between her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, and his famous parents, Victoria and David Beckham. Following reports that Brooklyn has cut off communication with his family, Nicola was caught liking negative Instagram comments about her in-laws on social media. Yikes!
Fans are already talking about what her recent social media behavior might mean for the relationship between Brooklyn and his parents, and at this point, it sounds like Brooklyn is tired of his wife being “vilified.”
Fans caught Nicola liking the shady posts this week.
As Radar Online reported this week, Nicola has been reacting to Instagram posts that throw shade at Victoria and David, including one that reads, “I’m glad Brooklyn has joined such a nice family,” implying that his family of origin wasn’t so nice.
That wasn’t all, though. She also liked a comment that said, “There’s obviously a reason why Brooklyn doesn’t speak with his parents. No child would ever choose to cut off their parents without good reason.”
Brooklyn feels like his wife is being made out to be the villain in all this.
As a source told the outlet, Brooklyn is really struggling with the fact that Nicola seems to be getting all the blame for the feud. “This narrative is so sexist and misogynistic, and he does not stand for his wife being vilified in this way,” the insider said.
Though none of the people involved have actually come forward to explain why the family is estranged, it seems like it all began with Nicola and Brooklyn’s April 2022 wedding, when she reportedly refused to wear a dress designed by Victoria for her walk down the aisle. Since then, it seems like the tension has only been growing.
Their feud has only gotten worse in recent months.
Brooklyn and Nicola were missing from David’s 50th birthday celebrations back in May, and that really seemed to seal the rumors that all was not well between father and son (though Radar’s source also claims that Brooklyn and his grandparents have remained close, despite all of the other drama going on).
Most recently, Brooklyn’s brother Cruz shared on his Instagram Stories that Brooklyn had blocked him and his parents on social media, and since then, Nicola has deleted all evidence of her in-laws from her own Instagram account.
