What to Know
The man formerly known as Prince Andrew has been stripped of all of his royal titles and has been evicted from his home at Royal Lodge, but it seems some UK residents don’t feel he’s being held accountable enough for his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. When Prince William visited a pub in Scotland this week, he was heckled over his uncle Andrew (now known simply as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor) by a very loudly dissenting crowd.
Prince William and Kate Middleton visited Gothenberg Pub on Tuesday.
While visiting the village of Fallin earlier this week, Will and Kate stopped by Gothenburg pub, just one of their stops during their quick trip to Scotland.
As People reported, the pub — which is more commonly known as The Goth — dates back to 1910 and runs under the Gothenberg system of putting some of its profits back into the community to help those who live near the business. But it doesn’t sound like Will and Kate’s arrival at the Goth went quite the way they planned.
They were met by unexpected protestors outside of the pub.

Footage that has been shared on X by Republic (an organization that seeks to end the British monarchy) shows a group of protestors yelling at William outside of the pub, as he was attempting to greet onlookers.
“How long have you known about Andrew and Epstein? How long have you known about Andrew and Epstein?” one man can be heard yelling. When he didn’t get a response, he tried again, calling out, “Have you been covering up for Andrew?”
Toward the end of the video, authorities can be heard speaking with the heckler, who tells him, “That’s alright, sir, that’s enough. There are children here. I’m a police officer, alright?”
They appeared not to react to the hecklers.
Will and Kate seemed to keep their cool as they ignored the hecklers at the pub, and when they posted about visiting The Goth on their official Instagram account, they made no mention of the protestors, either.
“Great to visit The Goth, an historic community-run pub in Fallin, where profits are reinvested into local initiatives, from supporting families in need and food banks to charities and hospices across the area,” said the caption of the post about their stop in.
