As much as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry claim they want to stay out of the spotlight and maintain their privacy, social media would have you believe otherwise. We’re looking at you, Miss Markle, aka Don’t-Call-Me-Duchess. When Meghan posted a video of Harry skiing and then Olympic gold medalist Eileen Gu posted a selfie with Harry and Justin Trudeau, it brought up lots of questions and even some conspiracies about the three of them and what narrative Meghan might be trying to spin.
Both social media posts that happened within such a short time to each other are also suspicious in nature because of the timing. Two Instagram posts about Harry skiing within a short time period? What are the odds? Apparently, to some, the odds are slim, which is why people have theories about what is actually happening.

Soon after Meghan posted her video, Eileen shared a collection of winter-themed memories in her own Instagram post. The photo in question features Eileen, Justin, and Harry together on a ski lift. According to a Reddit thread about Eileen’s post, that particular photo is from 2024. So what gives? In the same Reddit thread, people theorized that Meghan knew about Eileen’s impending post and shared hers first.
But again, why? Some believe that Meghan wanted to make sure people knew that Eileen’s photo did not mean Harry was off skiing without her and his family so she posted her video first to control the narrative. Is it a bit wild as far as conspiracies go about the Rural family defectors? Yes, absolutely. But people are still talking about what it all means.
“So if that was 2024 then it was probably Justin’s boy skiing as he would have been about 10,” someone commented on the thread. “So fed up with these fraudulent people and their lies. Go away H and take your lying wife with you.” According to that user, Meghan’s post was not only well-timed but a total fabrication of what actually happens. It’s wild.
People think Meghan Markle is fueling rumors of a separation.
There have been rumors about a rift between Harry and Meghan for almost as long as they’ve been together. If they had faded into obscurity and actually lived a quiet life when they moved to the United States, maybe they could have had some normalcy. But one of them is a former actress and the other is a prince. Let’s not pretend like either of them hate attention. So when the skiing controversy happened with multiple Instagram posts, someone on the same Reddit post theorized that it was Meghan’s own way of leaning into the separation rumors because she knew people would be talking about it and speculating.
When someone asked why Meghan would try to girl the separation rumors, another person replied that Meghan is “Getting ready to sell her story.”
“She should know by now that you can’t gaslight the entire internet,” someone else commented on the post.
Others slammed Meghan for posting about Harry and their son, Archie, but using a video that she lied about in order to dote on them and present a certain image to the world.
“The very awful part about this is if she wanted to post a father/son video, is there any real ones that exist of H and A? Probably not because she had to use one of someone else Trudeau and his son,” a naysayer added. “Then again, H is never home.”
Other people think Meghan Markle is a compulsive liar.
Another part of the conspiracy around Meghan’s post and Eileen’s post on Instagram involves people claiming that Meghan lies on purpose.
“I am wondering if Markle is a compulsive liar?” A user commented on the Reddit thread that seemingly exposed Meghan. “I mean, not just someone who lies to suit herself or alter some situation, but someone compelled to always lie about EVERYTHING even when there is absolutely no need?”
If the conspiracy is right and Meghan knew about Eileen’s post and shared a video first, only for that video of Harry and Archie to not be them at all, it says a lot about Meghan.
“To me, the most obvious example of this was when she lied about getting married in advance of their official wedding ceremony,” someone replied on Reddit, as they brought up a deep cut as far as followers of the Royal Family are concerned. “When you drag the whole Archbishop of Canterbury into your web of lies, that’s when you really don’t GAF.”
For many, it seems like Meghan has an allergy that Zyrtec can’t quite cure. An allergy to not getting enough attention.
