A Las Vegas man faces serious charges related to the ongoing torture and abuse of his girlfriend’s young son and teen daughter. On March 19, 2026, police arrested 38-year-old convicted felon Rosario “Roy” Diraffaele in connection with the allegations. The abuse he allegedly inflicted on his unidentified girlfriend’s 9-year-old son left the child with permanent scarring. A grand jury recently indicted Diraffaele on seven felony charges that could keep him behind bars for a very long time.
The family reportedly had a long history with the police.
According to court documents obtained by KLAS, Child Protective Services investigated the family five times since 2022 for reports of domestic violence in the home and homelessness. In June 2025, a Las Vegas police officer visited the family’s apartments for a welfare check regarding child abuse allegations. At the time, the then 9-year-old boy told police that Diraffaele inflicted different physical punishments that included wall squats, cigarette burns, and beatings.
“Then he also mentioned that he had been stabbed in the abdomen with a fork, and he lifted up his shirt, and he showed me what was pretty clear to be four prongs closely together,” the officer testified. “It was a scar, it wasn’t fresh.”
The allegations continued.

The boy told police that Diraffaele denied him food for weeks at a time, and police noted seeing locks on the refrigerator and cabinets. He said the man shot him with a pellet gun and threatened to beat him “black and blue” if he told. A 14-year-old girl in the home alleged that Diraffaele began sexually abusing her at age 11 and forced her to watch pornography. The teen girl also alleged watching Diraffaele inhale “white stuff” from a pipe while in the car with her.
“There were also reported investigations into concerns of drug use and mental health concerns,” police wrote.
People don’t think very highly of Diraffaele’s alleged behavior.
Many shared their disgust with the allegations on social media.
Many want Diraffaele to spend the rest of his life in prison.
“Life without parole would be suitable wtf?” Someone suggested.
“The punishment needs to MIRROR THE CRIME,” another person added.
This person sent good thoughts to the victims and a special message to Diraffaele.
“Wishing strength and healing to this young survivor.Lots of prayers for the young boy..AND FOR THE MONSTROIS ABUSER GIVE HIM LIFE.,,SO HE CAN SUFFER,WHICH IS NOTHING COMPARED TO WHAT HE DID,” they wrote/
Diraffaele denied all allegations.
When police spoke to Diraffaele in June 2025, he denied any abuse or mistreatment of the children. Police ultimately arrested him in March 2026, and he faces multiple charges in connection with his girlfriend’s children. He faces four counts of child abuse, neglect, or endangerment, two counts of lewdness with a child younger than 14, and lewdness in the presence of a child or vulnerable person.
These charges add another chapter to Diraffaele’s sordid and lengthy criminal history. According to KLAS, he’s been convicted of five separate felonies since 2010. Those convictions included possession of documents or personal identifying information, grand larceny auto, attempted burglary, receiving stolen property, larceny, attempted grand larceny auto, and receiving or transmitting stolen vehicles.
Per Law & Crime for the most recent charges, a judge set Diraffaele’s bond at $100,000. His trial will begin in November. Rosario Diraffaele has pleaded not guilty. His trial begins in November. CPS has not publicly addressed the five prior investigations.
