We all know about the benefits of breastfeeding our babies. But one mom found out that breastfeeding isn't just beneficial for small humans, it can be for adults, too. She admits that she has been breastfeeding her husband for several years, and that it has not only strengthened their relationship but improved his quality of life.

They didn't intend to make breastfeeding a part of their relationship
Breastfeeding has made their relationship better
Bailey explained that breastfeeding her husband has "created a more special bond between us which we never would have had if we didn't start this."
"I love breastfeeding him as it allows us to spend quality time together. It's definitely brought us closer as a couple," she added.
The benefits of breastfeeding exist, no matter what age
Breastfeeding has a lot of health benefits, like immunity for babies. Turns out, that extends to breastfed adults as well. Bailey shared that breastfeeding Alexander "would actually be good for him as it is so nutritious."
"He didn't get a cold for two years after he started drinking my milk, and so many people said his skin was so much better, too," she said. Apparently, he prefers the taste of his wife's breast milk to cow's milk now.
It works for them, and they don't plan to stop anytime soon
"It's not a kink for us," Bailey swears. "It started as Alexander just helping me out when I was in pain, but it turned into more of an emotional bonding thing."
Now that their youngest child isn't nursing anymore, Bailey's milk production has slowed.
"I am sad that our breast feeding times have reduced now because I feel like it has taken away our routine of those blocks of quality time that we had together."
Still, Bailey doesn't see what the big deal is, or why they should have to keep it quiet.
"Nothing bad has come from it at all, so why should it be something that is hidden?"
