18 Shows & Movies Coming to Netflix in February We Can’t Wait To Watch

Streaming giant Netflix has big plans for 2021, and it is already shaping up to be quite the entertaining year at home thanks to the various television series and movies it added to its library in January alone, but there is so much more to come. Just based on all of the content Netflix will add in the first couple months of this year, we're positive there's enough to stack all of our queues for nearly the rest of the year. But how exactly are we going to figure out which shows and movies on Netflix to watch first? Don't worry, we've got you covered.

We've sifted through all the shows and movies expected to drop on Netflix in February, and hand-picked the very best ones to share with our readers. From brand-new Netflix originals to some tried-and-true films many of us likely haven't seen in a while, there's a bit of everything on offer next month.

We did notice that Netflix is adding a lot of foreign films and shows in February — many of which are Netflix originals — so to streamline our list, because not everyone enjoys reading subtitles or watching dubbed audio, we mostly left those out (anyone who's curious can search the foreign genre on the streaming service), but otherwise our selections truly run the gamut. Keep reading to find out everything coming to Netflix in February that we just can't wait to watch.

'Beverly Hills Ninja'

Coming to Netflix: February 1

Hey, we never said that our recommendations would be high-brow cinema! Sometimes nostalgia makes up for the utter cheesiness in a movie. And let's be honest, we all remember cracking up at Chris Farley in Beverly Hills Ninja when we were kids back in the '90s. It's just too goofy not to be totally entertaining.

'Eat Pray Love'

Coming to Netflix: February 1

There's just something so cathartic about watching Julia Roberts in, well … anything. Her performances are so genuine, it's hard not to get sucked in. The 2010 film Eat Pray Love, based on the memoir of the same name by Elizabeth Gilbert, tried to accomplish a lot, and not everything landed. But it's definitely an awesome flick for a girls' night.

Movie lovers can't go wrong with the award-winning Christopher Nolan film Inception, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Coming to Netflix: February 1

We can't even count how many times we watched My Best Friend's Wedding back in middle school. It's such a classic! Sadly, those old VHS tapes and DVDs are long gone, and we don't get to watch this rom-com starring Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz nearly as often as we'd shamelessly like to.

'Shutter Island'

For those of us who have a penchant for suspenseful, creepy, and downright eerie films, Shutter Island starring Leonard DiCaprio is definitely a winner. It takes place in the 1950s and is about a US Marshal tasked with tracking down a dangerous murderer who is believed to have escaped from an asylum.

'The Bank Job'

Coming to Netflix: February 1

Actor Jason Statham has been trending on Netflix so far this winter, so why not roll with it? The Bank Job is one of his many action flicks, and we must say it's actually one of the better ones. It's a bank heist movie, and for the most part is par for the course, but its edge-of-your-seat thrills and solid acting and directing make it a worthy watch.

Zac and Mia is a quirky TV series based on the young adult novel of the same name by Australian author A.J. Betts. It's about two teenagers who meet at the hospital while battling cancer and form an unlikely friendship. While it's billed as a drama, there are definitely some laughs. And episodes are short, so it'll make for a quick binge watch.

Coming to Netflix: February 2

The second season of the absolutely hilarious comedian Tiffany Haddish's Netflix original sketch comedy show, Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready, will drop on the streaming service this February. If John David Washington isn't shaping up to be the next big Hollywood actor, we don't know who is. In February, he'll flex his acting muscles in the Netflix original film Malcolm & Marie alongside Zendaya. The film is an artsy drama that offers a close-up view as a director and his girlfriend face relationship troubles sparked by the stress of waiting to learn what critics think of his new film.

Coming to Netflix: February 6

The third season of the anthology series The Sinner will land on Netflix early in February. Starring Bill Pullman and Harry Ambrose, each season of the series examines how regular people end up committing the most brutal and heinous crimes. It's definitely a dark show, but totally fascinating.

Pavlovas and trifles and cakes, oh my!

The much-anticipated final installment in the popular Netflix To All the Boys trilogy, comes out in February. It stars Lana Condor and Noah Centineo, of course, and follows teenager Lara Jean as she navigates the ups and downs of adolescent romance and love, while also managing the demands of her family and friends.

'The Crew'

Coming to Netflix: February 15

Kevin James is a true master of the sitcom, and we're definitely excited to check out his brand-new series The Crew on Netflix — even if it is about Nascar. Funny man Kevin plays a Nascar crew chief and the show follows his interactions with his crew, including what we can assume will be many hilarious situations. Definitely sounds like a quick and humorous escape.

'Animals on the Loose: A You Vs. Wild Movie'

Coming to Netflix: February 16

A follow up to the 2019 Netflix original interactive series You vs. Wild, famous survivalist Bear Grylls has now teamed up with the streaming service to create an interactive full-length film based on the same concept.
