When it comes to internet hate, no one has it worse than Meghan Markle. Ever since she became a royal (and honestly, even before then), she's faced more criticism than anyone should ever face in a lifetime … and she's only had HRH status for just over a year! It seems like no matter what she does, says, or wears, someone somewhere has a negative opinion about it — an opinion that they are going to share whether they were asked to or not. We really feel for Meghan, because on some days, it just feels like she can't win. People act as if the entire monarchy will crumble if the duchess accidentally crosses her legs once. So, all we can really do is hope that Meghan has found a way to block out the noise.
And we're sure that Prince Harry has found a way to help Meghan do this … he has been dealing with the public eye for a lot longer than she has. We know that all of the internet naysaying probably gets unbelievably old pretty quickly, so the poor duchess probably just has to find a way to laugh at all of the ridiculous things said about her. However, now that she's a mom of the adorable little Archie Harrison, we're sure that she has no patience for the public coming for her first son.
We wouldn't either.
But unfortunately, people are always going to have opinions on what Meghan says and does. This poor royal woman is in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation, and we wish sometimes people would just calm down. When She Didn't Curtsy Correctly
During Meghan's early days as a royal, people were watching like hawks to see how she would do with her first curtsy. Naturally, the fresh duchess was a little rusty, and boy were people quick to notice. Let her be, OK??
Or When She Crossed Her Legs
And heaven forbid that Meghan accidentally cross her legs!! The woman had been crossing her legs for more than 30 years before she became a duchess, so obviously this was going to be a hard habit to break. Luckily, Meg got the hang of the perfect duchess slant just like Kate did.
When She Wore Too Much Pink
During her first few weeks as a royal, Meghan sported a lot of pale and blush pink. We thought she looked fabulous, but some people weren't a fan of the duchess's seemingly monochromatic wardrobe.
When She Was Apparently a "Bridezilla"
Every bride is entitled to have her bridezilla moments, but insiders were accusing of Meghan taking things to the extreme. We don't know exactly how much merit these rumors have, but we do have to remember that she was planning a royal wedding … not quite the same as planning a normal ceremony, right?
When She Was Accused of Changing Harry for the Worse
According to some reports, Harry's group of guy pals are noticing some not-so-great changes in the prince since he started dating and married Meghan. Now, this could just be because Harry doesn't have any interest in spending his nights in pubs anymore.

And because of this, rumors have circulated that Prince Harry's friends aren't Meghan's biggest fans. Come on guys … what's not to love? The duchess is beautiful, smart, classy, and quite honestly the best wife Harry could have found.

People acted nothing less than shell-shocked when Meghan stepped out in a few minidresses while she was pregnant with little Archie. Just because the duchess was expecting doesn't mean she couldn't show off those legs of hers.
She Also Touched Her Bump Too Much
Boy did Meghan catch a lot of heat when she was pregnant. Internet naysayers didn't like how Meghan touched her baby bump often while she was expect. All we can say is … get over it, people.
When She Couldn't Keep a Royal Aide
Rumor has it that Meghan went through a lot of royal aides and assistants during her first year as a royal. Some people say this as the duchess being way too demanding, but again, we don't know if these speculations have any truth to them.
The Nanny Debacle
And of course people had thoughts about Meghan hiring a royal nanny. Can we blame the duchess for needing a little help with Archie during the first few months of his life?? No!
When She Had a Very Luxe Baby Shower
Meghan's NYC baby shower was luxurious and exclusive to say the least. It definitely cost her friends a couple pretty pennies, and some people thought that it was a little too extravagant for a royal woman to be celebrating in such a way.
And Then Took a Private Jet Home Afterward
And after the partying was over, Meghan boarded a private jet to fly back across the pond, and of course, this started an uproar. Did people honestly expect a duchess carrying a royal baby to fly coach with the rest of us??
Prince Harry Reportedly Trying To Get Away From Her
Harry was spotted sharing a pint with some friends at a pub, and for some reason, the internet jumped to the conclusion that he was trying to get away from his wife. Uhhh, big jump, but OK.
When She Showed Off Some Leg
During her and Harry's trip Down Under, Meghan sported the vacation dress of our dreams, but some haters weren't too fond of a duchess (pregnant, to boot) showing off that much leg. These people need hobbies.
When Someone Literally Called Her "Fat" While Pregnant
Uhhhh, excuse us?? During one of her royal engagements while she was pregnant with baby Archie, a woman commented to the duchess, “What a lovely lady you are. May God bless you. And you’re a fat lady!” Meghan, of course, just responded, “I’ll take it!” like the class act she is at heart.
But ... Her Legs Are Apparently "Too Skinny"
Alright … seriously?? The woman can't help that her legs and ankles are skinny! We think it's time to just let Meghan be as she is.
She Was Shamed for Not Meeting With the President
President Trump and his family recently took a trip overseas to visit with the royal family, and the newest duchess opted out of making an appearance. Some saw this as a snub, but we also have to remember that she had literally just given birth to baby Archie.

Oof … this one was a doozy. Yeah, some people actually thought that Meghan's pregnancy was fake and so was her bump. The rumor was that the duke and duchess were using a surrogate, but as we all know, that was just completely not true.

It seems as if every few weeks, some new drama comes up with Meghan's dad or her estranged half-sister. There seems to be no stopping these people, and the only thing we can do is just block out the noise. We certainly hope that's what the duchess is doing!
