Rapper 50 Cent is opening up about the distance he keeps from Sean "Diddy" Combs. Since lawsuits have come forth against Combs, with allegations of things like sexual abuse, rape, and sex trafficking, 50 Cent hasn't held back his feelings online about the 54-year-old record producer. The 49-year-old "Just A Lil Bit" rapper says he's in the middle of producing a docuseries about Combs with Netflix, which will likely address all of the allegations.

50 Cent opened up about his relationship with Combs.
In a cover story for The Hollywood Reporter, 50 Cent discussed his past connection with Combs and specifically touching on the rapper's parties, which is allegedly where facilitated sex-trafficking occurred.
“I’ve been very vocal about not going to Puffy parties and doing s— like that,” he said. “I’ve been staying out of that s— for years. It’s just an uncomfortable energy connected to it.”
This is the thing that ultimately made 50 Cent uncomfortable around the rapper.
In a previous interview, 50 Cent opened up about why he never felt comfortable hanging out with Combs outside of the studio. “He asked to take me shopping. I thought that was the weirdest s— in the world because that might be something that a man says to a woman,” the rapper's former ghostwriter said. “And I’m just like, ‘Naw, I’m not f—ing with this weird energy or weird s—,’ coming off the way he was just moving. From that, I wasn’t comfortable around him.”

He doesn't claim that the two ever had a friendship.
50 Cent described his former connection with Combs as being “mostly work,” and nothing further. “I wouldn’t call it a friendship because there wouldn’t be disappointment between us if we didn’t speak to each other,” he said. “There’s points that we worked together.”
50 Cent called Combs' energy 'weird.'
“I didn’t ever party or hang out with him,” 50 Cent said. “Puff is a businessperson; when [people call him] a producer, I see people that were taken advantage of, who produced things that he took from them… I don’t have any interest in doing that. I actually fall under the creative. So I just didn’t take to hanging out with that.”
He doesn't think others are as comfortable speaking up as he is.
50 Cent previously shared his opinion about why other people may have been slow to speak out against Combs, and he believes it's because many played a part in enabling the rapper. “It’s not uncomfortable for me to say what I said because I’ve been saying this s— for four years, five years,” he said. “I been telling you, ‘I don’t f— with him. I don’t like the way he moving. This is a little crazy.’ Everybody else is not going to be as comfortable as I am saying it.”
