What to Know
If you didn’t know much about Charlie Kirk and his mission before he was shot and killed, his widow Erika Kirk is making sure you know her name and remember it well. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Well, it depends on who you ask, but either way, Erika has not stopped making the rounds to promote Turning Point USA and all that she believes in.
Which, according to a clip posted on TikTok from an Arkansas appearance at a school, includes “young white male men.” Yes, that’s right. Erika walked into an Arkansas school and gave a speech about how important it is to support men and boys and she specifically mentioned white men and young white men who, according to her, need more support than anyone. Alright, then.
Erika Kirk actually said out loud what many assumed conservatives believe about white males.
@aestheticnursekj Governor Sanders and Erika Kirk spoke about putting club America, which is a turning point USA chapter in every high school in Arkansas, but the part that caught my attention was this particular part of Erika Kirk speaking to the young people in Arkansas.

It’s not all that surprising to hear a conservative white woman in the United States talk about how important she believes white men are. Mostly, we’ve all always suspected this to be the case. But for Erika to say it out loud or, as the woman who posted the clip says in her video, as Erika says “the quiet part out loud,” it’s still a bit of a shock.
Erika’s appearance has to do with promoting youth chapters of Turning Point USA in Arkansas schools. Yes, apparently, that’s a thing, because if you want an army full of young white Charlie Kirk-types, you have to get them while they are still young and in school.
“We live in the greatest country in the world, the greatest country in the world,” Erika says in the clip from her appearance. “Don’t let anyone disenfranchise you because you’re a young man, especially a young white male man. Don’t ever let anyone talk down to you. We need strong men out there. Strong men who… will be good leaders, good husbands, good fathers like mine. God has created you for a purpose and a reason far greater than you and I will ever know on this side of Heaven. But just know that as long as you’re a part of Turning Point USA, you have us by your side, and we will be there for you every step of the way.”
Critics were quick to slam her for her comments.

Look, no one is really surprised by what Erika says in the clip. Did anyone really think she would ever support inclusivity over whitewashed children of God? Yeah, I didn’t think so. But when people commented on the TikTok post, they still shared their shock at actually hearing it out loud.
“Why did she have to specify?” One user commented. “We are doomed,” another person added. Someone else wrote, “I miss the days when I didn’t know who she was.”
Because yes, there was a time before people were as painfully aware of Erika’s existence as they are now. But those days are long gone.
“I cannot believe this is real life,” another TikTok user commented on the video. Most shared the sentiment, because what?
People compared Erika Kirk to Serena Joy from ‘The Handmaid’s Tale.’
In The Handmaid’s Tale, Serena Joy is instrumental in changing the U.S. to a totalitarian new world with men in power, despite being a woman. When her husband dies, she continues her work and speaks out about it often. Now, in real life, we have our very own Serena Joy in the form of Erika. At least, according to some.
Someone commented that Erika is “giving” Serena Joy, and added a photo of the fictional character in the comments.
“It’s eerily reminiscent of that series,” someone agreed. “I don’t like it.”
