What to Know
If you’ve watched an award show’s red carpet, you already know all about the Glambot — the camera that creates a slow motion video of celebrities posing as they show off their outfits. The director behind the camera is a man named Cole Walliser, and right now, he’s found himself the subject of some serious social media conflict that has led to him being dragged all over TikTok for his interactions with a bride who wanted to book his services for her wedding.
Cole became the topic of conversation after he defended Jennifer Lopez.

After Cole shared a video of Jennifer Lopez‘s Glambot moment at the 2026 Golden Globes where she appeared to ignore him as her photo was being taken, he returned with another coming to her defense after his followers were calling her “rude” in the comments.
“I didn’t take it personally. It didn’t feel rude in that moment,” he explained. “I think there’s a couple things that added to the fuel of this idea. One, she’s just down to business. The carpet was closed. She’s ready to go inside. She knew what she was gonna do. She got into the position.”
He added, “I knew she was getting ready. I knew it was late. We were just getting through it. That moment didn’t feel rude.”
Then, a bride spoke out about her interaction with him.
After Cole’s comments about J.Lo went viral, a woman named Yinka Animashaun took to X to share an email exchange she had with him in 2019, when she was interested in booking the Glambot for her wedding. Apparently, Cole didn’t think she was serious about it — or that she had enough cash to afford the booking.
“It’s $300,000 I’ll take a 10% deposit to secure the gear and once I have the deposit I can do a contract. Ready to get started?” he finally replied after some back and forth, to which Yinka responded, “Thanks Cole. I’ll reach out by Monday!”
“If you wanted to know how much it costs you just needed to ask, you don’t need to pretend you are going to book it,” he said in his next email.
Needless to say, Yinka went without the Glambot at her wedding, and told People that she felt “hurt” by their interaction in a statement this week.
“As a Black woman I am no stranger to people making assumptions about who I am or what I am capable of, but I think his responses to me were exceptionally unprofessional and unkind,” she said. “I was preparing for one of the best days of my life, and to this day, his response shocks me. That isn’t how you speak to a potential client or people in general. Hopefully my sharing this can be a learning experience for him and enable him [to] be better or at least a bit more kind.”
Now, he’s being raked over the coals on TikTok.
The comments section of Cole’s J.Lo video aren’t pretty now that people have had a chance to hear Yinka’s story.
“Can I book the Glambot or will you assume I don’t have enough money?” one person wrote.
Another commented, “YOU are the meanest. The call is literally coming from inside the house!”
So far, Cole doesn’t appear to have responded to any of the negative comments — or Yinka’s accusations.
