Joe Rogan Admits He Prefers to Be High Around Daughters; It Makes Them More ‘Interesting’

Joe Rogan is no stranger to controversy, and comments he made about how he parents under the influence will just add to that. In a recent episode of his podcast, Joe spoke with award-winning psychedelic researcher Amanda Fielding about how psychedelics can be used to help, not harm. In his case, he said it was about helping him parent.

He claims being high helps him become a better parent.

“People don’t like this, but I’m going to say it, anyway. I like to be high around my children,” he admitted.

He went on to explain why he feels that way, stating: "When I’m around my children I’m fascinated by them and things that may be frustrating perhaps if I was sober instead are charming."

It helps him find his children interesting.

"I find them interesting and I’m fascinated by their mindset, and talking to them," he added.

Amanda agreed with his decision, adding that she believes drug usage allows parents to "have a healthy relationship with their kids" because they will have an open mind and will therefore be able to understand younger generations.

Joe Rogan doesn't often talk about his family.

Joe shares three daughters with his wife Jessica. His oldest daughter, Lola, was born in 2008, with Rosy following two years later. He also has an adopted daughter, Kayja Rose.

He doesn’t often talk about his family publicly.

Joe admits to trying to be a good father, and has claims that being high allows him to be a better parent.

This isn't the first time Joe has talked about psychedelics.

Joe is an advocate for psychedelic use. He believes that it gives him the clarity of mind to understand himself better.

He has admitted that taking psychedelics makes him "much kinder."

After using them, he explained that "I certainly have changed," due to his experiences with psychedelics.

This is clearly what works for him.

During his interview with the researcher, who has over 50 years of experience with psychedelics, he explained that you need to have discipline when it comes to usage.

"With discipline, it allows you to experience the states and get something from them, pull something from them and apply it to normal consciousness," he explained to Amanda.

It's definitely not for everyone — and we hope that Joe is staying safe while using the drugs around his children.
