John Travolta Reprises His Iconic ‘Grease’ Role, Sings ‘Summer Nights’ for Super Bowl Ad

One of the best parts about watching the Super Bowl is seeing all of the commercials, and we know at least one so far is going to be epic. John Travolta is starring in a T-Mobile commercial where he's singing "Summer Nights" from Grease, bringing us all the nostalgia … and he has two very recognizable costars.

The commercial is promoting T-Mobile's home internet services.

He begins singing a song about setting up his home internet to the tune of "Summer Nights" from Grease when he's joined by his neighbors — and who else would they be but former Scrubs stars Zach Braff and Donald Faison?

The three then walk around the neighborhood, singing, while John wears a very Danny Zuko-esque outfit.

All three of them proceed to sing a song about internet access.

They all sounded pretty good together. And more than that, it looks like this commercial was a ton of fun to shoot.

If you're a fan of Grease, you'll definitely recognize some of the moves in the footage. So much nostalgia!

John posted the commercial on his Instagram too.

"Neighbors that sing together, stay together. I couldn’t ask for anyone better than @Donald_aison and @zachbraff," John wrote in his caption.

In his own Instagram post about the commercial, Donald added that the first thing on his to do list after finding out he'd be a part of this was to "immediately book voice lessons."

This commercial comes just months after the loss of John's 'Grease' costar.

In August 2022, Olivia Newton John died at 73 years old following a lengthy battle with breast cancer — something that prompted John to pay tribute to the Sandy to his Danny on social media.

"My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better. Your impact was incredible," he wrote at the time. "I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever! Your Danny, your John!"

There's no doubt this commercial will be a hit.

Though there's likely to be plenty of star-studded ads airing during the Super Bowl on Sunday, we have a feeling that considering how many people adore Grease, this will be one of the ones that definitely sticks out in people's minds. It's just too cute!
