Josh Duggar Is Reportedly Blowing Through All of Jim Bob & Michelle’s Money in Prison

Serving out a prison sentence means going without the finer things in life – unless you’re Josh Duggar, apparently. According to an inside source, Josh has been blowing through the money that parents Jim Bob and Michelle have been sending him to use while he’s behind bars, and it isn’t exactly helping him get along with his fellow inmates at FCI Seagoville in Texas.

Josh has been busy 'guilting' his parents into sending him more money for the commissary.

An inside source told In Touch that Josh has reportedly been very busy trying to milk his parents for all they’re worth.

“Truth is, Josh has been rescued by his folks so many times and he probably thinks he deserves the finer things,” the insider said. “Jim Bob and Michelle are sick with worry and Josh is guilting them even more into sending him cash so he can buy the luxuries that would otherwise be unavailable to him and live in style.”

Josh's pricy sneakers he was photographed wearing recently are part of his spoils.

At the time, a source told The Sun that the sunglasses and Under Armour sneakers Josh was wearing would have had to have been a special order he placed – something that most inmates wouldn’t have the cash to do themselves.

According to the In Touch source, “he’s also shopping for bath supplies and expensive skin creams, books and magazines, candy, soda and other comforts.”

It also sounds like a little bribery is involved.

The source went on to claim Josh has such a cash flow that he’s able to pay his way into eating more food by making it worth the cafeteria staff’s while. “He can even get larger portions by greasing a few hands in the kitchen,” said the insider.

He is viewed as 'smug and entitled' by the other inmates.

“The other inmates don’t have what he has, and it just makes Josh look smug and entitled,” the insider added. “It’s no secret he’s setting himself up for trouble from thieves and bullies who aren’t going to take his showing off lying down. Clearly, he blames them and everybody else for his misfortune.”

Throughout Josh’s arrest, jury trial, and ongoing appeals, multiple reports have claimed that his parents are the ones footing the bill – and of course, they’ve also provided housing (and likely many other essentials) to Anna and the seven children she shares with Josh because he was their source of income.

If this latest update is true, it will certainly be interesting to see how long Jim Bob and Michelle let this go on. The costs must be really adding up!
