Kayne "Ye" West is using the spirit of the holiday season to try to make amends. Over the past few years, the rapper has made multiple antisemitic statements, but now, it looks like he's hoping that the Jewish community will let him turn over a new leaf. On Monday, Kanye took to Instagram to apologize in Hebrew for his most recent comments, which he called an "unintended outburst." This isn’t the first time Ye has shared offensive comments fueled by his erratic behavior, but it seems like he's hoping people will believe it was the last.

Kanye claims to 'deeply regret' his actions.
"I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused," he wrote in his Instagram apology.
His apology was posted in Hebrew and has been translated to English by multiple news outlets.
He is aiming for 'forgiveness' from those he's hurt.
Kanye went on to write, "I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future."
"Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity," he continued.
His latest rant took place earlier this month.
While in Las Vegas, Kanye went on an antisemitic rant where he mentioned Donald Trump, Jesus, and Hitler. A video of the rant was obtained and shared by TMZ.
"It’s 60 million of us in America, 60 million Jews in the world," he stated at the time (albeit incorrectly). "Who’s going to make the hospitals, though? He’s a Zionist, Trump. This is what I’ve been trying to tell you. Jesus Christ, Hitler, Ye, third party, sponsor that."
He also blasted the crowd where he was speaking.
Kanye later told the crowd to "shut the f— up" before he went on ranting about how the "rich f—s" in the room have their children enrolled in "in Zionist schools." At one point, he even made a comment that seemingly pointed to his eldest daughter, North West, who he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
"My daughter ripped up the motherf—ing couches in the house to be able to be with me right now," he said.

Kanye's antisemitic acts have extended to his music as well.
The rant is just the latest in a string of antisemitic messaging from Kanye. He gave fans a preview of new music earlier this month that included more troubling lyrics.
"I still keep some Jews with me / Management? Nah / I only let ’em do my jewelry," he rapped as 10-year-old North watched.
