June has been a big month for the British royal family. On June 15, senior royals attended Trooping the Colour, a birthday parade honoring King Charles. The annual event marked Kate Middleton's first official public appearance since December — and since she announced her cancer diagnosis in March.
On the heels of that excitement was Father's Day. And both the Princess of Wales and Prince William took to social media with photo tributes to the holiday celebrating dads.

Kate Middleton shared a new photo of Prince William with their three kids.
Kate, 42, took to Instagram on Sunday with a photo she took of William, 41, and their three children. In the image, the Prince of Wales stood facing away from the camera and at a beach with his arms wrapped around Princess Charlotte, 9, Prince Louis, 6, and Prince George, who turns 11 next month.
"We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day G, C & L," she captioned the update.
In the comments, royal fans praised Kate for her 'beautiful' photo.
Royal fans showered Middleton with praise in the comments, with one person writing, "This is a lovely photo of a lovely family. Happy Fathers Day, Prince William ❤️."
Another Instagram user commented, "Love this photo ❤️."
"Ooooooh… This is beautiful! ❤️," someone else declared.
Others commented on the bond between William and his children.

Prince William also posted a throwback photo of King Charles for Father's Day.
William made sure to acknowledge his own father with a separate Instagram post on Sunday. "Happy Father’s Day, Pa. W," he captioned the update. In the photo, a toddler-aged William kicked a ball in the grass with Charles.
Fans lauded their relationship and the old photo.
