Kelly Clarkson Shuts Down Rumors That She Used Ozempic To Lose 40 Pounds

Kelly Clarkson has been stunning fans with her recent weight loss. It seems that Kelly shed the pounds overnight, making it impossible for many not to notice how different she looks lately. The comments on her social media posts are full of fans praising her new look and asking the singer for the secret to how she dropped the weight so fast. Although some say this is her "revenge body" after her divorce from Brandon Blackstock, others are convinced that the only way she could have lost the weight is with the help of medication such as Ozempic.

Kelly denies that Ozempic is in her weight-loss toolkit.

Fans have been speculating that Kelly must be using Ozempic or a similar medication to lose weight, considering how quickly she appears to have dropped a significant amount of weight — something many people think is only possible to do with the help of a prescription. But according to what a source close to the singer told Life & Style, that's not what's happening here at all.

Apparently, she really did lose the weight through diet and exercise.

The source claims that her 40-pound weight loss can be attributed to a change in diet.

"She’s limited her sugar and carb intake. She’s cut out soda, chips, biscuits, cheese and tortillas. And she’s added exercise, mostly cardio, into her weekly routine. She’s lost about 40 pounds. She feels amazing," the insider said.

The source went on to call Clarkson an "emotional eater" and blamed her divorce for some of her weight gain.

Kelly's weight loss also can be credited to her recent change in location.

Many close to her are crediting her move from Los Angeles to New York City to her slimmer look because far more walking is involved in the city.

"I knew I needed a fresh start and couldn’t be in LA," she told USA Today in an interview. "I really wanted to be in Montana, but you can’t really do a show from there quite yet. So I was like, 'The only other option would probably be New York.'"

She added, "I was like, 'I’m not living here unless it’s right by the park and really nice for the kids.'"

Her fans are heaping on the love for Kelly's new body.

Fans couldn't help but flood her Instagram comments to tell Kelly how much they’re loving her new look.

"Looks like someone is taking their life back 100% … you are just the sweetest human and deserve nothing but the best,” one fan wrote.

Another commenter agreed, adding, "Kelly looks absolutely stunning," along with fire emojis.

Recently, Kelly has been the victim of an AI dupe selling weight-loss aids.

A video of Kelly was doctored to seem like the singer was promoting a weight-loss gummy. The video, which is actually one she used to promote the release of her album Chemistry, has been circulating on social media to sell the gummies.

"Hello, this is Kelly Clarkson and I want to share something incredible with you," Kelly appears to say in the video. "As you know, I’ve always strived to stay fit and take care of my health. Recently I’ve started using a product from a renowned pharmaceutical company and I’ve been absolutely amazed by the results."

Her publicist told The Associated Press that Kelly "does not have any affiliation as a spokesperson" for this weight-loss product or any other.
