Kim Kardashian Plans To Leave Reality TV Behind To Finally Be a Lawyer

Kim Kardashian is well known for appearing on reality TV shows and co-founding SKIMS, but she might give up her “Kim K” lifestyle to become a lawyer. Over the past several years, the mom of four has demonstrated her passion for criminal justice reform while also promoting interesting shapewear products and trying to get through law school. In May 2025, she officially completed her law school studies after six years. Now, she says she’ll be a qualified attorney in two weeks — but fans remain skeptical.

She’s awaiting her bar exam results.

During an appearance on BBC’s The Graham Norton Show on October 24, Kim spoke about how she’s currently dabbling in a variety of different projects. She’s also waiting to get the results back after taking the bar exam, and based on what she said on the show, she seems pretty confident.

“I have a few projects coming up — I film my first movie in January, and we are hoping for a season 2 of All’s Fair,” she said, per People. “I always want to be growing, curious and evolving, and I want to see wherever that takes me.”

Adding that she’s waiting for her bar exam results, she added, “I will be qualified in two weeks.”

But fans are less confident.

Though Kim seemed to assert that she will be qualified in two weeks, some fans questioned how she could have so much confidence. “I hope for Kim’s sake she passed, because it’d be really embarrassing to have to walk this statement back,” one person wrote on Reddit.

“She’s probably trying to be [optimistic] but I question how she has the bandwidth to truly study for the bar when she’s doing 4838282 other projects, lol,” another critic added. “She’s blaming all her stress on Kanye [West] however she also puts herself face first into stressful projects all the time.”

However, others disagreed. “She has to know she passed,” someone wrote in her defense. “I couldn’t see her making this statement if she was still waiting on results,” someone else commented.

But still, even if that is the case, her statement still came across as “misleading” to some fans.

“After passing the revenant exams, she still needs to apply to the Bar to be authorized to practice law in the state of California,” another person pointed out. “I know this is Kim, but she really needs to be more precise with her words if she wants to be an attorney.”

Kim suggested that her lifestyle might change dramatically in the future.

If Kim’s dreams really do come true, her life might look a lot different than it does currently. “I hope to practice law,” she said. “Maybe in 10 years, I think I’ll give up being Kim K and be a trial lawyer. That’s what I really want.”

While Kim seemed to imply that she would give up some of her other passion projects in the future, it seems like we might still have years of unconventional SKIMS product drops to look forward to.
