Some people who were watching Saturday's coronation of King Charles from the comfort of their own home believe they stumbled upon a disguised Meghan Markle in the audience at Westminster Abbey. They took to Twitter to share their theories about the suspicious-looking guest and to trade hilarious jokes about the possible interloper.

Meghan skipped the coronation to stay home with her kids.
Unfortunately, Saturday's royal festivities conflicted with another big day for the Sussex family: Archie's fourth birthday. Meghan stayed home in California with the birthday boy and his sister, Lilibet, while Prince Harry traveled to the UK alone to attend his father's historic ceremony.
Of course, that information didn't stop Twitter users from sharing some hilarious takes.
It all started when they noticed a man wearing glasses in the audience.
Among all the royals, high-profile celebrities, world leaders, and socialites who gathered to watch Charles finally get crowned was an unfamiliar face. People immediately focused their attention on the unknown spectator, who some accused of wearing a wig and a fake mustache. One person even tweeted a photo of the man, writing, "Meghan, you're not fooling us."
Not everyone thought the mustachioed guest was Meghan, though.

Several people tweeted jokes about the polyjuice potion from the Harry Potter books (which allows the drinker to assume the form of someone else), while others alluded to the show Impractical Jokers, hoping that the disguise was all just a setup and that Meghan would pop up and make herself known before the ceremony was over.
Of course, we now know who the stranger really is — and it's definitely not Meghan.
The mystery man is Sir Karl Jenkins.
The composer's work was performed during the coronation, so he was likely there out of respect for everything he did to help put together the musical aspects of the event. Sir Karl had even spoken with the BBC ahead of Saturday's festivities, talking about how excited he was and gushing over the music.
"It obviously sums up Welsh culture — the harp — and he [King Charles III] has always supported Welsh music," the 79-year-old said.

It's still fun to think about Meghan sneaking into the event.
Despite confirming Karl's identity and the photos that show Meghan hiking in California over the weekend, it is amusing to imagine the Duchess of Sussex using her skills as an actress (not to mention her extensive hair and makeup connections) to infiltrate the coronation to get a front-row seat to the history-making event like some Scooby Doo villain … and she would've gotten away with it too if it weren't for those meddling kids!
