Prince Harry Reignites His Feud With Trump During Awkward ‘Colbert’ Cameo

It’s never been a secret that Prince Harry and Donald Trump aren’t exactly each other’s biggest fans, but that became more clear than ever this week when the Duke of Sussex made an appearance on the Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

During his visit to the show, Harry cracked a couple of jokes at the president’s expense, making it clear that their feud isn’t going to die down anytime soon.

Harry mocked Trump without actually mentioning his name.

Harry’s cameo on the show began when he was a part of a skit about cheesy Hallmark Channel holiday movies — many of which involve a plot about royalty.

“You Americans are obsessed with Christmas movies and you’re clearly obsessed with royalty, so why not?” Harry quipped, adding, “I hear you elected a king.”

He wasn’t done there, though. When Harry listed everything he’d be willing to do to start his acting career in America, he said, “I’ll record a self-tape, I’ll fly myself to an audition, settle a baseless lawsuit with the White House — all the things you people in TV do.”

Trump has made negative comments about Harry in the past.

Knowing Harry’s more liberal political beliefs, it’s no surprise that he wouldn’t be a fan of Trump’s, but the feeling is certainly mutual.

Not only did Trump make a point to say that King Charles only has one “remarkable son” while visiting the palace in September, but before that, he told the New York Post that he wouldn’t consider deporting Harry because in his opinion, he had enough to deal with when it came to wife Meghan Markle.

“I’ll leave him alone. He’s got enough problems with his wife,” he said. “She’s terrible.”

Some experts believe that this stunt is only going to make Harry’s ongoing estrangement from the royal family worse.

Following Harry’s appearance on Colbert, royal reporter Kinsey Schofield told Fox News Digital that she doesn’t believe that these comments will go a long way when it comes to repairing his relationship with his dad and brother across the pond.

“Honestly, how does he think he can hold on to a royal title while taking public swipes at the head of a foreign government?” Schofield told the outlet, calling his words “a slap in the face.”

“Buckingham Palace put significant effort into a major state visit for President Trump to support diplomatic relations,” she continued. “And, frankly, it’s a slap to President Trump as well, considering he agreed to ease up on Harry’s immigration situation out of personal respect for King Charles.”

Something tells us Prince Harry isn’t too worried about any of these things, though…
