Riley Keough has a lot to celebrate amid a serious loss. On July 12, the actress was honored with an Emmy nomination for her leading role on the limited series Daisy Jones & The Six. But it is also the three-year anniversary of the death of her younger brother, Benjamin Keough — and the six-month anniversary of the death of her mother, Lisa Marie Presley.

Riley having to grieve both her mother and brother is unimaginable.
In the photo that Riley shared on her Instagram Stories, a young Ben is wrapping his arms around Lisa Marie’s neck and making a goofy face. She is smiling directly into the camera.
“Missing you both,” Riley wrote on the photo, adding a red heart emoji.
Ben died by suicide in July 2020 at the age of 27. Lisa Marie died earlier this year of cardiac arrest. She was 54.
'This world is strange without you ...'
Riley and Ben were very close, and she honors every anniversary of his death and his birthday on her Instagram.
"There are no words for you," she wrote days after his death. "Angel is the closest I could think of. Pure light. Baby brother. Best friend. Wild man. Intellectual. Witness to my life. Twin soul. Protector."
To honor his birthday last October, she shared a childhood photo of them in matching outfits with a sweet caption: "You would be 30 today. Happy Birthday my best friend, my angel. This world is strange without you❤️"
She also recognized how lucky she was to have Lisa Marie as her mom.
Riley also was incredibly close to her mother. She shared photos of them together on her Instagram often as well.
When Lisa Marie died in January, Riley shared a sweet black and white throwback photo of the two of them. Lisa Marie is looking down and smiling at her daughter, who is looking up at her mother with adoration. She captioned the photo with a single red heart emoji.
This year for Mother’s Day, Riley shared a snapshot of her mother and father, Danny Keough, holding a newborn Riley.
Lisa Marie was an 'inspiration' to her daughter.
Riley has said her mother inspired her role playing a rock star in Daisy Jones & The Six.
"My mother is certainly an inspiration to me," she said in an interview with People back in December 2022. "I was raised by somebody who did their own thing and didn't really care what other people thought. She was definitely inspirational to me."

“Feeling very blessed,” she wrote on her Instagram stories after the announcement was made, adding the prayer hands emoji.
“Thank you @televisionacad.”
