Things were obviously chaotic inside Lisa Marie Presley's home the day her housekeeper discovered her as she had an apparent cardiac arrest. But now that the transcripts from the 911 call made on January 12 have been released, we have new details that show just how heartbreaking things were behind the scenes for her family as they frantically tried to get help.
The New York Post has obtained a copy of the 911 call.
It seems from the recording it was Lisa Marie's housekeeper who made the distress call — only, she was so shaken up by what was going on inside the home that she struggled to answer the dispatcher's questions, including a simple request for the star's address.
Lisa Marie's ex-husband had to get on the phone to clarify where they were calling from.
The operator asked to speak with someone else after the housekeeper explained that she didn't know the exact address of the property, which was when Danny Keough got on the phone.
"There's a security gate in the neighborhood, but they'll just let them through," he explained to the operator. "How close are they? How far are they?"
Danny had just returned home from dropping Lisa's twin daughters off at school.
We can't even imagine the chaotic scene that Danny had walked into when he got back from dropping 14-year-old Finley and Harper off at school, but according to reports, he quickly jumped into action and began administering CPR, which he continued until help arrived.
Once they were on the scene, the EMS workers then gave Lisa Marie epinephrine, according to Page Six, before taking her to the hospital where the 54-year-old was then placed on life support. She was later declared dead.
The call seems to highlight the tragedy that happened inside Lisa and Danny's home.
A source close to the family revealed that Lisa's twin daughters with ex Michael Lockwood and the 33-year-old daughter that Lisa shares with Danny, Riley Keough, are staying with their grandmother Priscilla Presley in Los Angeles.
The twins have reportedly revealed that they don't wish to return to the home where their mother died, which is understandable.
The family has endured a string of heartbreak over the years.
Lisa Marie was preceded in death not just by her famous father Elvis Presley, who died in his early 40s in 1977, but also by her son Benjamin. Lisa Marie's only son died by suicide in 2020 when he was 27 years old, rocking her entire family and prompting them to leave behind the home where his body was found.
Our thoughts are with Lisa Marie's family at this time. We still can't believe another Presley's life has been cut so short.
