Robert Irwin Poses in His Underwear for New Ad Campaign & the Internet Is Drooling

If your celebrity crush is Robert Irwin, you’re in luck. The 21-year-old son of the late Steve Irwin is stripping down for a new ad campaign as Australian underwear brand Bonds gets ready to launch in the United States, and the photos are truly a sight to behold.

Robert was a very willing participant in the shoot.

The new photos from the campaign debuted on Thursday. As he works with his family at the Australia Zoo, Robert’s totally in his element, posing with snakes and other animals while dressed only in his underwear. There’s no denying it: He looks good!

In an interview with People about his new gig, Robert said that when Bonds approached him, it was “an immediate yes.”

“I’m at this point in my life where I’m trying to do as many different and random exciting things, and if it’s something that makes me a little bit nervous, that I’ve never done before and it’s a bit of an adrenaline rush? That’s what I want to be doing,” he said.

He admitted that posing for the photos was ‘way scarier’ than dealing with crocodiles.

“Getting your gear off is way scarier than wrangling a croc!” he told the magazine. “Wrangling animals is easy … and I had to do both. It was not on my bingo card. It felt so surreal. But it’s true what they say about Bonds, mate. They keep you comfy the whole way through.”

He also did plenty of prep work ahead of the shoot so he could look his best. “I’ve done more sit-ups and had less carbs than I ever have in my life, but it’s been fun,” he shared.

Robert also opened up about his love life.

While talking to People, Robert also confirmed that he’s single.

“It’s funny, I’m at this point in my life where I’m like, I’m so open to that, but I’m just waiting for the stars to align,” he said.

Fans definitely approve of the photos.

When Bonds shared more photos from the shoot on the brand’s official Instagram account, people didn’t hold back when it came to how they really felt about them.

“I’m sweating,” one person wrote.

Another commented, “Crikey, when did he become a man?”
