The situation with Teen Mom star Amber Portwood's missing fiancé, Gary Wayt, is continuing to unfold, and now, there's been a major update. News broke Thursday night that Gary has been spotted in Oklahoma, hundreds of miles from North Carolina, where he was last seen with Amber. This sighting is bringing up a lot of new questions, especially because Amber has made it clear she doesn't believe that he would have left on purpose.

Gary was seen on video surveillance on Wednesday.
The Bryson City Police Department in North Caroline confirmed to Page Six that it received a notification that his license plate was seen on the highway. There is video footage showing him driving in Oklahoma, which is a long way from where he started in North Carolina, where he and Amber were visiting for her brother's wedding.
He was also seen in a store.
A Verizon employee confirmed that Gary had stopped in the Oklahoma store, but at this point, it's not clear if he purchased anything. However, since Gary has been traveling without his phone, of course, it's possible he would have stopped to buy a new one.
Gary has not been in contact with Amber.
According to what Amber's manager told The Ashley's Reality Roundup, police have verified that the man at the Verizon store was Gary. Her manager also stated that Gary hasn't been in contact with Amber or his family before or after the sighting.

TMZ has also reported on the sighting.
According to what Bryson City Police Department's assistant chief, Wayne Dover, told the news outlet, Gary was seen doing "normal activities" in the city of Weatherford and didn't hesitate to identify himself to people he was chatting with.
Witnesses also said that he "did not seem in distress and had a calm and nonchalant demeanor."
Authorities have been in touch with Amber.
Fortunately, she's being kept up to date on Gary's whereabouts, but as far as we know, it doesn't seem like she expected this would have happened.
While speaking out on a YouTube stream on Tuesday, Amber said, “We have not had explosive fights. We are very in love, this man asked me to be with him, this man then asked me to marry him.”
