Thomas was found driving Abraham's car.

An arrest warrant obtained by USA Today shows that Thomas was arrested after police say he was found driving Abraham’s car after the license plate came back as being stolen. The TikTok star then tried to flee during a traffic stop, but eventually crashed. He was identified as the wanted person during a photo lineup by an officer involved in the crash.

The coroner released Abraham's cause of death.

According to a local coroner, the therapist died from blunt force trauma. His death has been ruled as a homicide, per the sheriff’s office. Initially, it was unclear whether or not Thomas and Abraham knew each other. The TikToker also wasn’t facing charges in relation to the murder of the therapist. That, however, has changed.

Thomas was soon charged with murder.

As of October 3, 2024, Thomas was charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice in connection with the killing of Abraham, according to PEOPLE. Authorities say that the victim’s blood was found in his apartment. As of now, it’s unclear if he has entered a plea to the charges or retained an attorney to speak on his behalf.

Evidence of a "physical altercation" was found.

Authorities were able to get a search warrant for Thomas’ apartment in Baton Rouge. There, they say they found evidence that “indicated a violent physical altercation” had occurred, according to the warrant. The blood found allegedly matched Abraham’s DNA, along with “multiple sharp objects” and other weapons.

The warrant also said that Abraham was seen in surveillance footage arriving at Thomas’ apartment around 11 a.m. local time on September 28, 2024, in the same clothes he was found dead in the next day.

Witnesses allegedly saw Thomas dragging a tarp.

It was reported that witnesses told authorities they saw Thomas “dragging an object wrapped in a blue-colored tarp” hours after Abraham was last seen alive. They added that Thomas appeared to be “struggling” as he was bringing the tarp down the stairs, and then put it into what they claimed was Abraham’s vehicle. According to police, there is “no evidence to suggest that Thomas was a client of Abraham” and they’re currently investigating a motive into the murder.
