Having big boobs is both a blessing and a curse. Just ask Tanya Hennessy.
The comedian made a viral video about the struggles of being the owner of two large sweater puppies.
She first talks about bra shopping:
"I was just wondering if you have any bras in a double E?" she asks. "You do? How much are they? $900? Excellent! Can I have a look?"
She then holds up a hideous beige bra.
"Wow! It's beige and unattractive! Isn't it — I mean, that's the definition of practical."
She is basically the big boob whisperer.
Hennessy calls out a stranger in Kohl's who told her to consider a breast reduction, a shop owner who told her they don't have anything "sexy, lacy, or colorful" in her bra size, and anyone who's ever told her to wear a strapless top.
She also ridiculed the idea of exercising:
"I'm just going to have to put on 45 sports bras because if I don't, these bad boys are going to hit me in the face," she claimed. "They have actually, once. I had to go to the hospital."
She also points out the ridiculousness of having bras that push her boobs up, but not to keep 'em down.
"Do you have a bra that squishes my boobs down?" she asks. "You don't? But you have several that make them bigger? Oh God! I couldn't think of a worse hell."
As for backless dresses? Forget it.
"Oh my God, the bridesmaids dresses are backless?" she wails. "I cannot wear that. My boobs will literally hit the ground. I will get gravel rash at your wedding."
Girl, preaaaaach.
Hennessy brings up an important part of the struggle of being a big-boobed woman.
Unfortunately, most of the fashion industry still doesn't cater to busty women. Few brands carry cup sizes over a DD, and even fewer carry options that can actually be considered "cute." Fewer still are brands that carry AFFORDABLE, cute bras for women with large tatas.
Even though Hennessy had a good sense of humor about it, it's still a problem that's not really being solved.
We need options, too.
