80 percent of women have stretch marks, but how many actually accept their marks or proudly show them off? Admittedly, it's a difficult feat, but once you get there like these celebrities did, it's the most rewarding form of body freedom. However, it's important to note that women who embrace their stretch marks are far from "brave." Instead, they're just real people who choose to love their bodies no matter what.
Here's nine celebrity women on owning their stretch marks:
Ashley Graham
Time and time again, the plus-size model has proven just how relatable she really is by showing her cellulite, stretch marks, and rolls. "I love the skin I'm in" is always her message.
Chrissy Teigen
The Twitter queen didn't wait for the trolls to come to her. Instead, she just showed off the stretch marks on her thighs for all to see with the caption, "Whatevs."
Demi Lovato
Lovato loves being super real with her fans, which is why she once openly showed off her "extra fat" and stretch marks.
Denise Bidot
Plus-size model Denise Bidot was the pinnacle of confidence when she posed in a bikini that let her stretch marks show.
Rihanna
Rihanna recently took to Instagram to show off her leg hair, which led to fans asking if she was also showing off her stretch marks in the name of body positivity. And though you can't *really* see them here, the singer assured fans that she does have them: "I got stretch marks but dats the sun," she said.
Reese Witherspoon
Witherspoon has an important message all women should hear: “I am covered in stretch marks and cellulite but it doesn’t bother me at all. My body will never be the same again but I really don’t care.”
Lady Gaga
The singer probably meant for this to be an innocent (headless) selfie, but after posting the photo, fans were so excited to see that she, too, has stretch marks on her boobs.
Jennifer Lopez
Even Jenny from the Block isn't afraid of her thighs in all their natural glory.
Drew Barrymore
Barrymore has no shame when it comes to the so-called "imperfections" on her body. "Those marks prove that I was blessed enough to carry my babies and that flabby tummy means I worked hard to lose what weight I could," she once said.
