Calling your partner by a pet name is something that's pretty common, but one man on Twitter recently let it slip that the nickname that he’s given his wife is actually meant to be an insult, not an endearment. “She thinks it’s cute,” he wrote online.
The confession was submitted to the Fesshole Twitter account.
My wife always starts her text messages to me with "Hi Babe" or "Hun", for the last few years I've replied with "my little Honey Badger". She thinks it's cute but she hasn't twigged that honey badgers are amongst the nastiest, most vicious bastards on the planet.

The page is meant to be a place where people can confess to “sins” anonymously online — much to the delight of people online. But this recent confession from March 3 really took the cake.
“My wife always starts her text messages to me with ‘Hi Babe’ or ‘Hun,’ for the last few years I've replied with ‘my little Honey Badger,’” the anonymous man wrote. “She thinks it's cute but she hasn't twigged that honey badgers are amongst the nastiest, most vicious bastards on the planet.”
Some people thought the anonymous man was brilliant.
But other people weren't impressed.
"Honey Badgers take down larger animals by castrating them with their claws …" one commenter warned.
"The amount of people on Fesshole who hate their partners is worrying," a second person commented.
"Don't honey badgers also attack the testicles? I wouldn't be giving her ideas," another commenter advised.
He really thought he did something there, huh?
