Oh, blessed day. The torture is finally over. Our Lady of Snapchat Kylie Jenner has finally — finally! — shown us what's inside her Kylie Cosmetics holiday 2016 collection. And it is WAY crazier than even I was expecting.
Kylie took to Snapchat — naturally — to reveal the entire collection. And every single product is imbued with actual diamond powder!
Seriously. LOOK at all this!
And it's almost ALL exclusive to the holiday collection. Let's break this absolutely massive holiday haul down, piece by piece.
Beginning with the return of the minis!
We last saw a mini Lip Kit set as part of her birthday collection. The packaging back then was gold and the special ingredient was 24K gold; now it's silver and white and the secret sauce is diamond dust.
This set includes six miniature Lip Kits — four existing shades, and two new colors.
The shades are, from L-R: Moon, Ginger, Kristen, Angel (a brand new shade), Lovebite, and Vixen (another brand new shade).
The two new Mini matte shades are interesting for a holiday collection — but very on-brand for Kylie.
Vixen is a deep blackish-purple. Angel is a dusty cotton candy pink — which I TOTALLY called. Again: usually with holiday drops, we see a lot of reds, so I'm pretty into this slightly grungier shade range.
There's a full-sized Lip Kit set, with two metallics and two mattes.
L-R: Cupid, Angel (which you may remember from the Mini set), Blitzen, and Noel.
There are also special lip ORNAMENTS.
The big boxes shown in this video are Lip Kits proper — a lip color and a liner in a big box. The littler ones are singles — so JUST the color, no liner. They are all limited edition shades, and all come in the special silver and white packaging.
Let's take a look at all the colors.
Let's begin with the two Lip Kit ornaments: Vixen and Merry.
Vixen is that same blackened purple shade we saw in the Mini kit — but here it comes in a full-sized tube with a matching liner. Merry is a darker red that Kylie says she's wearing a lot lately.
Kylizzle swatched Merry and compared it to existing matte shade, Mary Jo.
Merry is much deeper and warmer, almost a tomato-y red.
There are three new ornament singles: one Metal and two glosses. This is the metal shade, Dancer.
Kylie describes this shade as "A pretty wine metal." It's definitely very shiny!
The gloss singles are Jolly and Naughty — and they're not just new colors.
According to Jenner, these glosses have an exclusive formula to make them richer, more pigmented and "WAY shinier than my other glosses."
You can definitely see how MUCH shinier they are in this video.
You can also see that Jolly is a deep purple-wine, and Naughty is a bright, candy cane red.
There are also three limited-edition cream eye shadows: Yellow gold, Golden plum, and Camo.
Here are swatches of all three cream shadows, and they're VERY pretty.
L-R: Camo, Golden plum, Yellow gold. Pretty!
And, oh my god guys. There's an ALL NEW HOLIDAY EYE SHADOW PALETTE!
Huge news: this is the first EVER Kyshadow palette with a goddamned MIRROR.
Jenner has clearly been listening to her fans.
The palette has nine new shades, but TWIST — the majority of the shades are SHIMMERY.
This palette was inspired by smoky jewel tones, and it looks GORGEOUS.
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL. There's also a white, opaque Kyliner...
SO FROSTY!
A silver makeup bag...
And Jenner's FIRST set of brushes!
This is huge.
The entire collection drops November 21 at 1pm PST — and if you order on Black Friday, you get a special Kylie Cosmetics stocking.
And as always, you can ONLY buy this stuff at KylieCosmetics.com — don't be taken in by fakes.
The entire collection will cost a whopping $290.
You'll be able to buy certain pieces individually, though. Hope you've been saving your green for Kylie's silver-and-white Christmas.
