CEO Turns Himself In After Video of Him Allegedly Attacking Teen at In-N-Out Goes Viral

A Colorado businessman turned himself in to police after a video of him allegedly attacking a teenager went viral. Lucas Kalisher, 55, was reportedly upset with the teen and a group of friends after they appeared to splash water on his wife at an In-N-Out Burger on August 4. When he didn't get the reaction he wanted from the boys, he allegedly attacked by strangling and shoving one of the minors.

Domonique Alire, who claims to be the mother of one of the teens involved in the incident, posted video of the encounter on Facebook. Her son was not physically attacked, but she used social media to help identify Kalisher. After the video went viral and his name was associated with the attack, Kalisher reportedly turned himself in to police on August 13.

People reported Kalisher’s now-deleted LinkedIn profile claimed he is the CEO of Summit Source Funding LLC.

The man appeared enraged.

The 26-second clip shows Kalisher with his hands around a teenage boy's neck and telling him to apologize to the woman. It's unclear what the teen says, but Kalisher then throws him to the ground and tells him, "You don't treat a lady that way."

A group of teenagers stand around, shocked by what they've just seen and concerned for their friend.

The teenagers told police they were just messing around.

According to a news release from the Loveland Police Department, officers arrived at the restaurant at 1450 Fall River Drive around 1 a.m. and spoke with the 15-year-old victim. He reportedly told police he and his friends were engaged in "horseplay" and splashing each other with water. During their game, the woman with Kalisher unintentionally got splashed, and the man got angry.

"The juvenile male approached her table to apologize when an adult male accompanying the woman suddenly grabbed him, placed both hands around the front and back of his neck, pulled him down to the table and threw him backward onto the floor," the release reads.

Video of the incident went viral.

Shocking video from the restaurant made its way through social media, and police continued their investigation. They spoke with several people at the restaurant and determined Kalisher was the suspect.

The Larimer County District Attorney's Office issued a no-bond arrest warrant, and Kalisher turned himself in to authorities. He was ultimately charged with felony assault and misdemeanor child abuse.

He posted a $75,000 bond and was released the following day, according to online jail records.

The video concerned parents.

Many wondered why no one stepped in, such as this person who wrote, "that's sad to see !!! Why would he throw a kid like that . What if he hit his head on the wall. Oh n ! And why is nobody else helping [the] kid."

This person agreed, commenting, "so sad t at NO O E stepped in. Embarrassing."

Others worried about the woman with Kalisher. "His own wife looks scared," a comment reads.
