Just days before Christmas, a young couple was traveling to visit family for the holiday and planned to share some big news. Tragically, they never made it. Utah couple Chloe Stott and Parker Stott, were going to tell family in Arizona that they were expecting a baby, but a horrific car crash claimed the lives of the young family.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Parker Stott was driving a white Toyota Tundra when he drove into a semi-truck in a head-on collision, KSL-TV reported. Chloe Stott, 24, died at the scene, but Parker survived, dying days later at an area hospital. Family and friends hope to honor the pair they loved so dearly.

Parker Stott was reportedly trying to pass another car when the accident happened.
The accident reportedly occurred around 8:20 p.m. December 20 on US 93 in Wickenburg, Arizona, KSLV-TV reported. Raul Garcia with the Arizona Department of Public Safety said the accident occurred about 60 miles from Phoenix. Parker reportedly tried to pass another vehicle legally but "failed to complete the pass and collided head-on with a white Volvo commercial truck tractor pulling a trailer loaded with home goods," according to the news station.
Chloe Stott apparently died at the scene.
KUTV reported that Chloe and her unborn baby, Benjamin, died at the scene of the crash, but Parker was air-lifted to a hospital in Phoenix with extensive injuries.
A Facebook Page dedicated to the couple, Parker and Chloe Forever, shared their story. They were reportedly planning to share news of their pregnancy when the horrific crash occurred.
"We are devastated and the world has truly lost one of its brightest lights. Chloe was extremely uplifting, inspiring, accomplished, and such a bright influence to so many around her," the page reads. "Even more heartbreaking, Chloe and Parker had recently found out they were pregnant. They were so excited to be parents and share the news with their loved ones over Christmas. The tragic car accident took the life of Chloe and their precious baby boy."
Parker fought for his life but sadly did not survive.
In a series of posts on the Parker and Chloe Forever Facebook page, friends updated followers on Parker's condition in the days following the crash. He was treated and had several surgeries, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
"At the completion of the surgery, the surgeons delivered the news that Parker's injuries were even more extensive than what we were already aware of and the outlook was extremely bleak. A few hours later, we received the update that Parker's vitals were dropping and he was going fast. We gather around him as a family, kissed him, hugged him, held his hand, told him just how much we loved him and how proud we were of him. He is the strongest person and has fought so hard," a post on the page reads.
The couple's legacy will live on.
Close friend Jake Toolson created a GoFundMe page for the couple's families. It has raised $200,000 of a $250,000 goal, and donations continue to pour in.
"We know they are in a better place and get to be together. We know they will be watching over us, cheering us all on until we get to reunite with them again. We love you forever Chloe & Parker," a post reads.
"I don't personally know Parker and Chloe but I felt prompted to donate after hearing their story. I am also expecting and wanted to send my love and support. My prayers go out to their loved ones and families. Rest in peace Parker, Chloe and Baby Benjamin," one donor wrote.
"I don't know this family, but I have seen their faces all over social media and I was so moved by the heartbreaking news. I firmly believe that there was much celebration in Heaven as they were reunited and I know that not Chole's family will be watched over and protected but so will Parker's family," someone agreed.
And many commenters shared prayers. "losing family around the holidays is extremely tough. I feel for this family that is grieving this holiday season. May God be with you all and I hope this slight donation helps. Sending my prayers and condolences!" someone else shared.
