Ex-Disney World Employee Admits To Secretly Taking Lewd Photos & Videos of 100s of Women

Police arrested a former Disney World cast member after he allegedly took a photo up the skirt of a female guest. But according to 26-year-old Jorge Diaz Vega, she was not his only victim. He reportedly told police he had violated the privacy of hundreds of women throughout a six-year period working at the parks.

His sordid past unfolded after a guest claimed they saw Vega performing the illegal camera work. The witness told a security guard, and Vega was subsequently arrested for allegedly unknowingly filming the 18-year-old guest. The teen said she had no idea it was happening.

Vega worked at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The serial offender reportedly worked at the Star Wars gift shop, an extremely popular destination at the park. According to a police report obtained by the Associated Press, after his arrest, Vega apparently told police he secretly filmed hundreds of women inappropriately throughout his six years working for Disney. Although police say that Diaz told investigators he suffered from borderline autism, he knew "right from wrong," AP reported.

He filmed the women for fun.

During his interview with police, Vega allegedly said that he filmed the woman as a "guilty pleasure." The New York Post reported that Vega claimed that he targeted women who came into the gift shop to purchase light sabers.

"Diaz estimated he had over 500 videos on his phone," the arrest record states. "Diaz takes the videos because it is hard to find them online."

What about the other victims?

The police report stated Vega willingly showed officers videos of multiple women on his phone. But according to AP, the Orange County Sheriff's Office and Disney officials declined to say whether they would try to identify other victims.

Disney confirmed in late April that Vega no longer works for the parks.

Vega faces prison time.

Following his March 31 arrest, Vega posted a $2,500 bond. He was charged with one count of video voyeurism, a third-degree felony. He faces up to five years in prison, AP reported. It is unclear if he has obtained a lawyer.
