A man in Alliance, Ohio, has caused panic after allegedly attempting to kidnap an 11-year-old boy who was out walking his dog. The man was easily recognizable because he was wearing a blond wig, makeup, and heels at the time of the attempted kidnapping â a detail that has been causing a lot of panic and commotion on social media.
The man, who also has female alias, had been previously arrested for an alleged crime unrelated to the kidnapping, and was already on the police’s radar. He is maintaining his innocence while he awaits his time in court.

The man was recently arrested.
Joshua Freyermuth, 39, was wearing a blond wig, makeup, pearls, and high heels when he allegedly tried to kidnap an 11-year-old boy from his home in the Akron suburbs, reported the New York Post.
Before the attempted kidnapping, Freyermuth, who is also known as “Vicky,” was arrested two days prior on drug charges after police said they found methamphetamine hidden in Freyermuthâs car, WFMJ reported.
Freyermuth tried to talk to the child.
WOIO reported that according to police reports, Freyermuth told the boy, “I need to talk to you” in an attempt to get the boy away from his dog and off his property. The report also claimed that the child refused to get closer to the man, and Freyermuth attempted to grab him, but the boy was able to get away.

The boy's father spoke out about the incident.
“When he grabbed my sonâs arm, my dog attacked him and then he stumbled back off the stairs,” the victim’s father, Zachery Thurmond, told WOIO. “He kicked his heels off, my son said he had white high heels on, and then he took off running down the street.”
The story began to circulate on social media, which led police to have “probable cause” to arrest Freyermuth.
Freyermuth claims that he's innocent.
Speaking with the judge via video, Freyermuth claimed, “I wasnât even there. I didnât kidnap anybody.”
Freyermuthâs bond was set at $100,000 and the court stated that he is to have no contact with the victim. Police say that they are continuing to investigate the incident, and Freyermuth is due back in court this week.
