Police arrested an Idaho father Sunday after he allegedly killed a family of four neighbors. Majorjon Kaylor, 31, claimed one of the neighbors, 18-year-old Devin Smith, exposed himself to his young daughters last week. Majorjon Kaylor and his wife, Kaylie Kaylor, reported the indecent exposure to police, but the father was seemingly unhappy with Smith's family's response.
Majorjon Kaylor got into an altercation with Smith's grandfather Kenneth Guardipee, 65, and his mother, Kenna Guardipee, 41, regarding the alleged incident on Sunday, the Associated Press reported. The Guardipees reportedly didn't appear to be taking his claim seriously, so Kaylor allegedly snapped and went on a shooting spree that left four dead.

The Kaylors and Guardipees live in a duplex.
A few days prior, Kaylie Kaylor had posted on Facebook claiming Devin Smith was masturbating in his bedroom window in full view of the couple's daughters playing in the backyard, CBS News reported. The Kaylors contacted the police, and an officer came to take a report.
"We responded to the call, investigated the call, and the report was done that day and submitted to the prosecutor's office for charges," Kellogg Police Chief Paul Twidt told CBS News. "I stand by what my officer did, and he did everything he could at the time. Nobody could have foreseen anything like this."
Twidt told the news outlet that police recommended a misdemeanor indecent exposure charge, and the prosecutor's office claimed it would file the charge.
An argument ensued Sunday.
The Kaylors argued with Kenneth and Kenna Guardipee about their claims against Devin Smith, AP reported, and then Majorjon Kaylor allegedly shot the adults near the front of the home. According to court documents obtained by AP, he reportedly entered the duplex and then allegedly shot and killed Devin Smith and his 16-year-old brother, Aiken Smith.
Kaylie Kaylor told police her husband handed her his wallet, phone, and keys before officers arrived and told her to tell their children he protected them, according to ABC 7.
He then reportedly put a loaded .45mm handgun in a holster in the front seat of his truck and waited for police.
Kaylie Kaylor told police her husband warned them he would react if another indecent exposure incident occurred.
In an affidavit obtained by AP, Idaho State Police Detective Justin Klitch wrote that Kaylie Kaylor said her husband told police he would take matters into his own hands if anything inappropriate happened again, saying he "was going to take care of it, which she indicated she interpreted as more like beating someone up."
"Kaylor said he 'Snapped,' 'Lost it,' and 'Did something about it,'" Klitch wrote.
Devin Smith allegedly struggled at school.
The Spokesman-Review spoke with family friend Katy James, who told the newspaper Devin Smith had a learning disability and struggled socially but received help through a program at Kellogg High School. Classmate Daisy Sawyer said Devin Smith had a reputation for being inappropriate and had harassed her at school.

The tragic quadruple homicide has rocked the small community.
The loved ones of both families are shocked by what transpired. Some say it was out of character for Majorjon Kaylor to snap.
Erin Bartley grew up with the Kaylor family. "I was shocked," Bartley said, according to KXLY. "I almost didn't believe it." She said she is mourning with the rest of the community.
"I just really hope that the truth all comes out, and I just hope for peace for both the family and friends," Bartley said. "I would pray for peace."
Cassie Sharp, a lifelong friend of Kenna Guardipee, echoed Bartley's sentiment. "My stomach turns upside down when you find your family and friends you met murdered," Sharp said, per KXLY. "I'm here just got get some justice."
Majorjon Kaylor was charged with four counts of murder and is in Shoshone County jail with no bond. He has not entered a plea in the case and is scheduled to appear in court on July 3.
