DoorDash is an easy and convenient way to get food delivered right to your home with very little effort on the customer’s part. Thousands of restaurants and millions of customers rely on DoorDash drivers to bring them their meals every single day.
Kiante Matlock ordered a meal on August 24, 2026, for himself and his daughter using the DoorDash app. The delivery arrived as expected, but the driver was allegedly naked. Matlock saw the man on his Ring camera and could hardly believe his eyes.
Matlock’s daughter got a notification that the food was delivered.
Matlock told Fox 26 he was playing a video game when his daughter told him the food was delivered. The father looked at the notification on his phone and saw the unidentified driver leaving the food wearing no clothes. Not surprisingly, Matlock said the entire interaction horrified him, and he threw away the food immediately.
Matlock uses DoorDash often.
He explained to Fox 26 that he’s never had an experience like this with DoorDash before, but this delivery seemed unsanitary. Matlock said he ordered Burger King and thought the driver had on a onesie at first, but quickly realized that wasn’t the case.
“Ain’t nobody want that,” Matlock said.
Matlock added that many people have said that his video is AI, but he said, “Nah, it’s real.”
He contacted the company, and they refunded his money.
DoorDash takes these types of situations seriously.
DoorDash also reportedly removed the driver permanently from the platform, according to the news source.
A spokesperson for DoorDash shared a statement about Matlock’s experience with Fox 26.
“What this consumer experienced was abhorrent, and we’ve reached out directly to offer our support. This man’s behavior was vulgar and completely unacceptable, and as soon as we were made aware, our team permanently removed their access to our platform. We do not tolerate sexual harassment or misconduct of any kind, and we stand ready to assist law enforcement with any investigation,” the company said.
Fox 26 reported DoorDash wants to know when these types of things happen and encourages users to share experiences immediately through the app. The company also recommended customers contact local law enforcement if they feel they are in danger.
The situation stunned more than just Matlock.
People could not believe the driver went to the door naked.
“In what universe did Ol boy think being buck a– naked doing deliveries would be like any other day?? And what do you think would have happened if the daughter decided to meet at the door guess the heat got to what was left of the brain that’s gonna say Hell No you ain’t going out with just a smile come on Man,” someone shared on Facebook.
This person had an interesting thought. “Was he thinking of applying for a different type of “job” at the same time? Maybe looking for a Tip if you will.”
No word on whether he could face charges related to the incident.
